  The hotel was a block from the Rijksmuseum -- the breakfast room looked across the street to the back archway. We were two blocks from the Van Gogh Museum, and on the tram and bus lines that led everywhere. We were able to take a BUS to and from the airport by walking a few steps.   The accommodation at Apartment Rijksmuseum exceeded all expectations. Not only was the apartment very clean, it was also spacious and ideally situated. The only confusion was who to buzz when we arrived, but we quickly figured it out (there's an art gallery below where the owners reside). Nothing but positive things to say. - An absolute delight. The hosts Wies and Joop were warm and hospitable offering assistance about access to interesting parts of the city and welcoming into their home. The apartment is spacious, full of natural light, with excellent views of the Rijksmuseum and is close to great restaurants and public transport. We could have moved in permanently!!!!!!
