Lovely rooftop apartment (Apartment E) for an able-bodied couple in a peaceful side street of lively quarter just outside the city centre. Apartment is light-filled, tastefully-furnished and was spotlessly clean (photos are accurate) with a view over the rooftops of Amsterdam and trees in the courtyard behind. Restaurants within easy walking distance, supermarket and tram stop just a few minutes away. A wine bottle awaited us on arrival along with a few tea bags and coffee pads. Excellent location for attractions, shops and eating out.
Nice touches like coffee pods for machine, teabags and a nice bottle of wine left for your use.
Great apartment, great location. Plenty of room for the 6 of us. Beds were comfortable enough and neighbourhood was quiet. I'd stay there again tomorrow.
Lovely apartment to stay in, so close to a beautiful part of Amsterdam. Simple, tasteful decor, quality fixtures. Very comfortable.

None of these were a problem for us (in fact we liked them) but might be for others:
The staircase to the top floor is very tight. Light sleepers might be disturbed by the church tower ringing every half hour and sounds of rain and wind (rooftop flat). No door to bathroom from the bedroom (but WC is separate with door).
Only negative was no air conditioning.
Did actually bother us, but it could be a problem for some - the stairs are very narrow and very steep. The bells of the church rang every 15 minutes - ok with windows shut but with windows open it was a bit of a surprise every time it happened!.

Please note that these apartments are located in an historic building with very steep and narrow stairs. No elevator is present.

The deposit will be refunded within a maximum of 14 days after departure on the condition that no damage and disturbance has occurred.
