  The hotel is in a quiet but I believe basically safe though somewhat dilapidated neighborhood. That said, the hotel itself is as charming a place as you can imagine. Our room had a large terrace overlooking a small but lovely garden with a tile inlay pool. Overall, We enjoyed this hotel more than almost any other we have come across in all our t - We loved our stay here. Upon our arrival we were pleasantly surprised by the host with the present of a free upgrade to the best room in the house. The ambiance is relaxed and sophisticated, and the house is absolutely beautiful and perhaps in the best location of Tangier. We love it.

  This boutique hotel is located literally steps away from the historical Kasbah district within, and at the upper end of the Medina. Its in a quite but perfect location for walking around the old town and port/harbour area.   The breakfast was delicious, the owner herself was brilliant and very helpful and friendly. The location is great for visiting the old medina and only a 10 minute walk to the beach. The design of the house and the garden resembles the true and historical image of how Tangier was a huge crossing point between Europe and Africa. Highly recommended.
