Very beautiful house with an amzing french patron and staff. Uniquely and lovely designed rooms (7 or 8 rooms) and salons with traditional Moroccan art, coulors and exclusive furniture. Everything matches perfectly. The nicest is place is the lounge on the top floor, where you can chill or have breakfast, with a panoramic view on the sea and direct access to a two-storied terrace overwatching the city and the sea. Breakfast was also served on the terrace and beautifully served. A very compact but comprehensive home from home. Very welcoming, very professional. It was only a one night stay, but I will certainly be back. Very good signposting, by the way. Beautiful guesthouse with gorgeous decoration. The staff was very hospitable. The location was great, located at the edge of the Medina overlooking the ocean. The location, staff and design cannot be beat. Beautiful hotel on par with La Tangerina. I wish I lived in this hotel - stunning and comfortable. the privacy and atmosphere - the views, interior design, incense, music - perfect relaxing combination. Well appointed, well located high end accommodation with great staff. the views- the calmness- the breakfast - the friendlyness of the owner. Love the area ... Great view from the balcony, excellent food. The property is gorgeous and tastefully kept. The terrace has an amazing view, and I believe most of the rooms also have a view of the Strait of Gibraltar. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. It is quite scary as a girl (with a boyfriend even) going through the Medina which is where it is situated. I would advise to arrive in the day and to arrange for a guide to pick you up from airport/ferry to escort you there as its tricky to find and not so safe walking through the poor areas of the medina with all your belongings. Nope, nothing comes to mind. It was a little pricey, but given the guesthouse location and facilities, it was worth it. Take a taxi to the hotel when you first arrive to Tangier. We walked from the ferry port and even though it is safe, we felt hassled by all the kids offering to be your guide. This is not a comment on the hotel at all - just advice on how to minimize culture shock upon arrival to Tangier. a little hard to get to but great facility to spend a few days at and unwind. the access is a little adventure- find out - normal for this country. We didn't know the Zaitouna Double Room we booked is so tiny. The toilet so small that you probably couldn't close the door if you are in it. A little pricey for this small room. WIFI reception was intermittent in the room, but okay in the common area.
