The level of personal service provided was excellent. Both the hotel staff and management made every effort to make your stay enjoyable and comfortable. They gave excellent advice on where to eat and how much to pay for taxis etc - this information was really helpful and it prevented us from been ripped off as we had some reliable inside information on how things worked. The hospitable staff work hard to make your stay as pleasant andenjoyable as possible. The owners have maintained an amazingly originaland outstandingly beautiful Moroccan Riyad that makes you feel like youliving at home as a Royal Moraccan vip rather than a tourist. Thebreakfast was excellent. I enjoyed every minute, will return (inshallah)and would highly recommend it.

Excellent breakfast and dinner. Good selection of wines. Location in the medina is easy to find (once you have been there once). A place to come back. The staff were suberb, they gave us a key to go and come as we please.The decor is truly chic and intrincisly moroccan. We stayed ther for ashort trip and felt that this riyad really made our trip fantastic.Would recommend it for anyone.The staff were outstanding,nothing was too much trouble. The location near the souks and the square was perfect. A beautifully decorated and delightful Riad. The location of the hotel is very good. The hotel is very nicely decorated, the rooms are spatious and clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful.Peaceful. Good breakfast, overall quality very high. Make sure you contact hotel to send driver to meet you- would be hard to find if you are not familiar with the medina. Great central location for souks and square.After something like "the path to hell" thru very dark alleys we arrived at number 19 and the door to 1001 nights opened for us. An excellent tagine served by Najat and a lovely room where we spent three nights. In short, a very memorable stay. The riad was a quiet haven away from the medina - well decorated rooms and lovely atmosphere. I would definitely stay there again.The central location but with seclusion and quietness together with friendly owners. Where to start? The owners obviously go to great lengths to make you feel at home. They are multilingual and generous with their time and local knowledge. This same message is transmitted by the staff too as they were all very friendly and nothing seemed too much trouble at any time. The reception we received from the staff, even in the absence of the owners, was first class. Like a home from home. I liked the tranquility and local character and the charming owners and staff. The beautiful open areas with a wealth of plants were matched by the cool serenity of the individually styled rooms. Breakfast on the sunny terrace looking over the rooftops was a pleasure. pretty much everything, it was very nice, clean and beautifully furnished, very cozy and close to my own style. It was "an experience", the special location, the nice ambiance and the friendly people. Owners were very helpful and staff great. Nicely decorated. Nice Breakfast!!!!. Right in the Medina walking distance to Market and Souks, you can also walk to the hop on and off bus if you want to talk a tour to the newer parts of town. Owners were great when had to organize a cab to pick us up at 6.15am it was organized well (cars cannot come up this far) so cab driver knocked on door and walked us back to where car was parked approx 4mins away. The rooms were luxurious and traditional. A real experience. An oasis! The baths were sensational. The people were lovely and gentle, even though we didn't speak arabic or french.Close to souks and square , friendly and helpful owner , traditional riad decor, hammam. Everybody's sympathy and concern. The whole place transpires good taste and well care.The breakfast was delicious - especially the honey. The management team and staff very good, polite and helpful. The atmosphere has a lot of authenticity, the hotel has many original decorations.The tourists were of very good quality and that together with the serenity of the place, made indeed a very pleasant spot to be and relax.We liked the athmosphere, the wellcome tea, the suggestions for the restaurant close by... very central, right in the medina among the souks. Owners and staff very friendly and a generally relaxed experience. This Riad is located right in the heart of the medina so you can only get there on foot through small narrow alley ways. We did not find it a problem but if may not be the best location for folks who had any mobility problems.The one major complaint is the dark, winding alley that you must take toget to the riyad. We arrived at night and it was quite frightening evenwith the taxi driver leading the way. Make sure to have a driver fromthe hotel pick you up from the airport; you will not be able to find iton your own!. All was lovely but we were glad to have left small children at home.The Riad should note on their website that use of cards are subject to a 4% surcharge regardles of credit- or bankcard! In our case we would have saved app. 100 dirhams by paying in cash! A little annoying!. Nothing but would take their option of arranging a taxi as this avoids getting lost finding the hotel. The room smelled a little strange as it had recently been refurbished and painted. It was beautiful though! Lack of privacy in the bathroom - the place is so silent that every cough (et al) can be heard by all. The entrance to the hotel is by way of small dark streets - a bit disconcerting the first time there (but safe none the less!). The approach to the riad suggested danger though none was actually experienced.not applicable. Maybe the location was a bit too interior to our liking, walking through dark alleys at night was a bit weird, but probably added to the overall experience.It wasn't a problem for us but for others it may be, finding the Riad the first time on your own is very tricky once you have done it once it is ok. Hotel not signed at all only the number 19 over the door. Just remember once you are in the alley you need to be in just keep turning right until you get to #19. And then on the way out of the Riad just keep turning left until you are out of the alley. No doors on the bathroom. Privacy between rooms was low.hard to find the first time - take a taxi organised by the Riad ; Riad rooms have little natural light and fresh air by their design . No problem for a short stay. The environment.The heating system in the room did not work. the position and way off access to riad a little bit awkward, old Medina being very different of what an average tourist might expect to be .For me was acceptable but I think a better description of the realities surrounding the location could prepare and inform the potential tourist, giving him or her the the possibility of choice.I would recommend more soap etc in the bathroom. Kind of scary to walk to and from the hotel. 100% book a taxi on your arrival as it is very hard to find it.Actually, around this area it is almost certain that you will feel unsafe but it is an experience and at the end we did nt have any problems. airport shuttle costing 15 euros. Location of the Riad. bad air circulation, lots of flies around the riad, breakfast not good.
