Unbelievable location inside the Marrakesh Medina! Perfect for the type of holiday we had planned with my wife and a close family friend.We booked 2 rooms a double for us and a single for our friend.Both rooms absolutely beautiful in the best Morrocan style and decor and kept impecably clean and the breakfast offered simply wonderful! The hotel location made it an exotic experience just getting to and from the hotel, and exploring the surrounding area. Every member of staff we interacted with w.

Really nice bedrooms - good size, clean, and elaborately furnished. A Location is good, although it can be a little difficult to navigate for first day or so! The streets in Marrakech are plentiful and very chaotic so it is easy to become disorientated at first. Maps and detailed instructions are available from the riad so just ask and they will assist. Still a good s. We spent our last night in Marrakesh in Monika and it was a right choice. Amazing place to relax. Quirky, with lots of character, plenty of quiet corners to sit and chill. Great swimming pool. Amazing service and nothing is too much trouble. Lovely breakfast in the terrace and the tables are spread out so you have privacy. Just an oasis of calm in a crazy Marrakesh. Our room was beautiful, comfortable bed. When we ordered mint tea it came with home cooked biscuits which were delicious!. Riad Monika is a lovely peaceful haven in a mad city. We were made very welcome, lovely room, pool, comfortable seating areas and great breakfasts. On the last night we had dinner which was very good. I definitely recommend having dinner at Riad Monika. Short walk to taxis and post office. Souks are 10 minutes away in the other direction. Zouhair will arrange any visits to the mountains etc. and was very kind, giving us directions and advice. The room, the bed, the bathroom. We only stayed one night but the staff were very friendly & a free beer in the evening was a nice touch. very relaxing. not to luxiurous for the given price. but really you feel like staying in the family house. The only small negatives were poor toilet flush and bathroom had nice soap dishes but no soap. As we only stayed for 1 night it did not make sense to buy your own soap... The air conditioning unit didn't work, wasn't worth complaining about at the time as we stayed just one night. I'm sure staff would have rectified it. pricey.
