We came to the riad through the hustle and bustle of the Medina, with the host Julien leading the way. As we entered Riad Bibtia, the tranquility and atmosphere of the building really struck us. We had been looking for a riad that had traditional Moroccan design and we could not have hoped for more. The lovely hostess Françoise greeted us with mint tea. The hospitality from all the staff throughout our six day stay was faultless. We enjoyed our breakfasts in the riad's atrium and ate splendidly.

When we need help to buy some jewellery, we were nicely followed to several serious shops and helped to get at good price. So very serviceminded! Thanks! PS: Taxi t/f airport may differ much. We used the same driver both ways (40 DH from just outside airport/50 DH drop off at airport). This nice and trustfull driver: 0602458448. A friend recommended us the Riad Bibtia for being a lovely and quiet place in the middle of the Medina, what we didn't expect was the wonderful treatment of the new owners. Julian, his family and the staff were the best hosts ever. They helped us planning our trips to Essaouira and to the Atlas always giving us the feeling to be treated like friends more than a clients. Highly recommended. It was a well-located nice riad in the middle of medina. It's ran by a French couple and they're very nice and helpful. They also speak very good English. I would highly recommend it to anyone traveling to Marrakech and wishing to stay in the old center in the midst of all the hustle and bustle. The riad has thick walls, so you won't hear the street noise indoors. Françoise & Julien are very kind people. They will tell you how to get around in the city and give you a really welcome feeling. The Riad is situated in the middle of the Medina, just a 5 minute walk from the square, which is a very save and pleasant walk too. I would recommend this Riad. As well too Young couples as older travelers. Very nice place in an amazing location (yet not easy to find at first). Very good value for money. Rooms have character and the terrace is very nice. The host Julien was amazingly kind in providing hints for authentic places to have lunch and redirected us to a nice place for the hammam. Nice place in the heart of the Medina. A bit difficult to find, but it is worth it. Once you know the way it is fun to walk the narrow alley. Very quiet at night. Very nice french owners, we very much enjoyed the delicious dinner at the Riad. Thanks for the hospitality. Super nice staff! The owner and his family have been just great! The riad is only 5 minutes from the big square. Easy to find, a very quiet place where to take breaks from the chaos of the city. Traditional, comfortable, and clean. Julien & Francoise are one between nicest things to Marrakech. Their Riad is authentic and true, where we breath it a family air and friendly. It's easy to discover Marrakech from here and dive in the Medina. We enjoyed our stay at this riad .Clean and staff were friendly ....thanhks to Ilyas . the place was tradition and well decorated . We would definitely recommend it to friends and family and return there ourselves.a . Fantastic location- just a short stroll (and shop) to the main square. Great hospitality, food and recommendations. Lovely décor, clean rooms and an amazing roof terrace view. Superb location and helpful staff. The attendant kindly shared his meal with us as he broke his fast for Ramadan. Friendly staff and very well decorated Riad. Nice to spend some time on the terras and just enjoy!. Perfect location,English speaking helpfull owner,good breakfast. very friendly staff great location. I liked everything, no complaints. Took some time to get hot water in the shower. Nothing.
