Located in the Riad Laarouss district of Marrakech medina, just a 10-minute walk from Place Jamaâ El Fna Square, this traditional guesthouse offers air-conditioned rooms and 2 rooftop terraces with Berber tents. Guest rooms at Dar Soukaina have a Moroccan decor and open onto a patio area. Each room has an en suite bathroom with a shower and offers free Wi-Fi internet access. Breakfast is included in the price and is served on the patio when the weather is nice. For other meals, guests are invited to sample traditional Moroccan dishes. A lounge with a fireplace leads onto a garden with banana and orange trees and a TV lounge is also available. Additional facilities available at the guesthouse include a 24-hour reception desk and luggage storage.

I can tell you what I loved! I loved everything about Dar Soukaina! My friend and I decided to travel to Marrakech for a long weekend away from our Study Abroad Program. Rashid, welcomed us with breakfast and the world's most delicious Mint Tea, Freshly Squeezed Orange Juice, this amazing flat bread and a delicious spread. This is what we were greeted with every morning. The rooms gave us the Moroccan feel and served as a cool escape from the sweltering heat. It's location is so close to the ma.
kaikki arvostelut » Very friendly staff, always ready to help if you need anything. Perfect location to stay if you want to be in the medina. We could park the car 2 minutes walks from the riad for aprox. 20 dhrs per day. Very nice and spacious rooms with air conditioning (48° in August). We enjoyed relaxing in the patio or Terrasse on the roof in the evening and the breakfasts and chat with our host. We stayed 4 nights and had a great time, we definitively recommend Dar Soukaina and we look forward to go back. Dar Soukaina was an oasis of calm within the hectic Medina. The facilities and rooms were comfortable and beautifully designed. We especially enjoyed the little courtyard with the orange tree, and the rooftop terraces. The hospitality was fantastic; the staff were always happy to give us information and help us book day trips and spa sessions, and our rooms were meticulously cleaned and tidied every day. We would stay at Dar Soukaina again!. All questions to the hotel have been answered quite fast. They picked us up at the airport and when we arrived they served us a nice cup of tea. The hotel staff was friendly, the room basic but clean. As they only have a few rooms, it was always very calme. The location is also quite good, takes you about 15 min to get to the famous place. I have travelled across Morocco in Oct 2013 and I happened to stay in a string of Riads and hotels from south Morocco to North east. I would honestly rank this as one of the best. Dar Soukaina is very nicely decorated Riad and with bananas plants growing in the patio and cool rooms it is a real oasis in the heart of busy Marrakesh Medina. Staff is very friendly always prepared to help. If we visit Marrakesh again we will definitely choose this place again. The dar is very nice and very peaceful. The staff is very kind and the rooms are spacious. They made a mistake and the room which we reserved was occupied but they made up for it by giving us a better. We really appricieted that. In the middle of the Medina, nevertheless quiet and relaxing, very friendly and obliging staff although it was Ramadan and they didn't drink and eat all day long, sparkling clean and beautiful. We definitely recommend this Riad!. As a decorator I really appreciated the beautifully deigned rooms and outdoor space. Staff was super fiendly, polite and trustworthy. Shower was awesome with good water pressure, clean towels, freshly changed linens etc... liked my room; nice decoration and layout; very friendly staff: arrived late at night and helped me out and let me take a shower the next day even though I had already checked out of the room; good breakfast. The sympathy of the employees and the owner, the localization inside the Medina and with easy access to Jam el Fna, the Souks and the Mederssa. The cleanness of the Riad, the calm and is a beautiful Riad. The hotel was elegantly decorated. The plunge pool was perfect to cool off and made the courtyard feel luxurious. The breakfast was good and we enjoyed eating in the courtyard. Great tress and details. The whole place was beautifully decorated, the courtyard was beautiful and we enjoyed the plunge pool. The friendlyness of the staff, all the smiles, the atmosphere, the oasis-like buildings, the exelent dinner they made and the price of the stay. A beautifully restored riad. Peaceful and tranquil in the busy Marrakech streets. The staff were friendly and polite. Lovely staff, great breakfast, beautiful bedroom, Perfect location, really quiet even though it's right in the souks!. beautifully designed, staff always willing to help but never OTT. Location was ideal. Everything was as described. Good location - only 15 mins from main square. Nice room with bathroom and good air con. Very cosy patio next to the room,perfect to chill. Silence,safety,feeling at home. Authenticity. The individual rooms don't have locks (only a lock at the main entrance to the building), although we did not have any issues. I didnt like the breakfast to much, but I have to say they really take care of doing it. And I was a little bit disappointed about the Terasse. I thought that breakfast can be eaten on the top where you have a little bit a view, but this was not the case. But all in all i can recommend this riad!. If you are in Marrakesh for the first time be prepared that finding this place in Madina would not be easy and using services of so called guides will be necessary. 20 dirhams should be enough for a guide. In the visit book we red a story in our language when the lady said that the dar is perfect but just like anywhere in marocco they charge more than agreed. The same than happened to us. We washed our clothes and the staff said it was for free (we didnt mind paying for it) but than at the end they charged us for it. This made us a bit mad at the end. location; too hard to find; each time had to ask at least 3 people how to get to the hotel. The breakfast is repetitive all the days. Breakfast was pleasant but with no choices available. Location down a quiet alley is a little scary at night, but not really a problem - they have a number you can call if there is a problem. Breakfast. Screaming kid at 6am ....also Breakfast being right next to our window!!!!!!.
