I have stayed in a few Riads in Morocco but for value for money, amazing service, beyond what you will get elsewhere.....thanks John- Pierre and Hisham, you will not do better. The Riad is clean, attractive and comfortable inside. If you don't, want to see the real Morocco, - Jean Pierre (the french owner) and Hisham (the local guy who works for him) looked after us so well when we stayed for them for 5 nights. They gave us advice to make sure we werent totally ripped off by taxi drivers and vendors in the souks ;). Hisham made us more (complementary) Mint teas than we can could count, The rooms were lovely and typically morroccan styled.   Location is good. We wanted to be next the main square and this Riad is right next to it, just inside the medina. Not so hard to find either, especially if you have google maps on your phone. The staff was all very nice, especially Abdu who went above and beyond in niceness. We got really sick actually in Marrakesh and spent our 3 days there mostly in the Riad and in bed sick with fever. Abdu even went ou - The location is the best you can expect. It's a 2 min easy walk from Jamaa el Fna. From the terrace (wich is amazing by the way) you can hear the noise in jamaa el Fna but in a good way. Inside the riad it's very peaceful. The riad is beatiful, just like the photos, even though the rooms seem a little more luminous in the net (that was not a problem, there was enough light).   Loved the take of a modern Riad built in the traditional fashion located in the middle of the mayhem of the Souk of the old Medina. Ideally located to truly experience both the old and the new Marrakech. Why stay in the 'sterile' new city hotels and never experience Marrakech as it's meant to be experienced? What a place to escape to from the mayhem of the souks of the old Medina and the travails of the daily drudgery - The staff were very attentive and friendly. We appreciated being showed the way to the main square the first evening and that there was always a member of staff waiting on the corner of the main street to escort us to the riad late at night. Great facilities and atmosphere to escape the hustle and bustle of Marrakesh medina.
