This is a basic but clean and comfortable hotel located in town. It is about a 10 minute walk to Medano Beach and 5 minutes to the beautiful marina. Our fellow guests were both foreign and national so we knew that it was fairly priced. The hotel has a rectangular layout around a central attractive pool area that provides access to rooms on three levels. The pool area includes palm trees, bougainvillea and other tropical vegetation. A very basic free buffet breakfast is available under a ro.

We asked questions at the front desk re the local bus system and received good information in English each time. It was two blocks of the start of the main drag with all the bars, as close as four blocks to the harbor (the harbor promenade was quite long once you get there), two blocks to the high end shopping mall and suburban bus stops, but there was a more local bus stop across the street. . If you're looking for a resort atmosphere, don't come here but if you're looking for a cheap, clean, nice place to stay in an awesome location, this is perfect. Was in a very safe and friendly neighborhood with a more authentic Mexico feel but only steps away from the marina, all the bars, clubs and activities you need. Cheap and delicious tacos right outside. Clean and nice rooms. Friendly, helpful and honest staff. Can get a shuttle to and from the airport for $16 each way right outside the a. What a lovely oasis in the midst of the bustling town of Cabo San Lucas. The staff were excellent, alway there to help and answer any questions, helped us with car rental, other hotel accomodations for a road trip, recommended many restaurants. This a great hotel for budget minded travelers. It is clean, safe and the staff are courteous and very friendly. I would recommend stay at Estancia, be it a solo traveller,like me or for families. The bed was really comfortable. Harder than I normally go for, but I slept like a baby. Everything in the room worked well--TV, Internet, safe for valuables, shower, lights. Breakfast consisted of fruit, coffee, cereal, milk, orange juice, and toast made with wonderful tasting white bread.. Staff was helpful and friendi. It was a great location, big clean rooms, nice pool area, relaxed check-out time, good exchange rate, helpful staff, and across the street is my favorite Cabo restaurant: Mocambo, and half a block down is a great fresh juice place. And it's only a 5 min walk to the clubs and good shopping. Estancia Real is in the perfect location for anyone who wants to be in the center of the action. The staff is so helpful and quick to respond to requests. The beds are a little uncomfortable, but I'm used to pillow top mattresses. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. The staff was very good. Maintenance man fixed the safe ASAP. Was amazed at the cleaning lady that actually dusted the top of the door to the room. The pool was crystal clear. Very clean facility. Short walk to everything. Some rooms that back onto the street can be noisy because the windows are single glazed. Ask for a room that doesn't back onto the street. The air conditioners are quite old and can be loud enough to be heard even in adjoining rooms. In winter (the most popular tourist season), air conditioning will probably not be required. A small fridge for beverages would be useful for guests staying more than a day or two. Traffic noise is loud. Breakfast is ok but very basic, bread two types, farina or runny oat meal like porridge, two types of cut fruit, whole oranges and bananas, coffee, orange drink, cheerios and milk. It would be nice to have water included and something a tad less continental breakfast style. But given the room price its not a bad breakfast. Twice, my room card strip lost its code and I couldn't get into my room, so I had to go to the front desk to ask them to reprogram the card. My shower did not get hot (although, I only tried in the evening). No idea why the place was so empty. No phone or alarm clock in the room and no sink in the kitchen. Breakfast which is included was horrible especially the coffee. They also serve paid breakfast which is cheap but also bad. Don't try. Half of the patio lounge chairs broken. Air conditioner knob was worn out, but you take it off and twist the metal part and it worked fine. Shower water flow weak. There were a few tiny bugs in the bathroom and kitchenette but with the daily cleaning they were not bad. Air con wasn't working. The cleaners waiting on our door step in order to check out, the room being left open before check out by the cleaner. No restaurant or bar, I had to ask for pillows. Very hard beds and pillows. Price could be abit cheaper. Noisy. The street the hotel is on is completely up rooted right now. facilities. I emailed & requested 1st Floor away from Street Noise and Staircases which they confirmed.,.!!. Arrived & given #215 on Noisey Street Side, moved to #229 that was Not made-up & finally #232, next to Stairwell. Only 1 day received Face cloth & hand Towels. Took 3 Trips to get a working tv Channel changer. Beds were really firm... I mean realllly firm. This is a zero star property, in a zero star area - just don't even try it.
