Very good value for many especially for bacpackers. Although the hostel was on a side street, you can reach Batu Ferringhi's main street in a 2 min walk. And if you don't feel like doing anything then you can also just go straight to the beach without the need to shovel your way through local merchants.

  Very Clean, Good breakfast provided, Helpful staff, Great showers, comfortable bed. As an older couple staying here was slightly out of our comfort zone. Met some great young people who were backpacking. The bus's in and around Georgetown were frequent and inexpensive. Recommended for backpackers. - Excellent staff right from the very beginning, especially Howie and Arthur did everything to make our stay more comfortable and pointed out directions and restaurant tips which we gladly accepted. The room was basic, but has everything you need. Location right there in Little India is perfect, as you can explore most of Georgetown by foot.

  Great location close to the Red Garden food market - very tasty, cheap meals from 6pm onwards. Walking distance to anything you'd want to visit it Georgetown and you can get buses around the corner opposite the 7/11 shop that will take you to any other desirable destinations on Penang Island. There are many guesthouses in the M - You will find a very helpful and kind owner who will provide you all the info you need to visit the island. All good, definitely recommended
