Location in Chinatown and close to subway station.
Aircon was not adjustable in the room and temparature was too high for me.

Friendly, helpful staff and the rooms are clean with good facilities. Lots of places to eat nearby as it is right on the edge of Chinatown.
Excellent staff, very courteuos, and willing to accommodate any needs whatsoever with a smile. No other hotel I have been to anywhere in the world has arranged a staff member to help me do some souvenir shopping in the market. They even went to that extent !! Being a disabled traveler, I was provided a brand new wheelchair and staff to help me whenever and wherever I needed to go. The concierge made all the arrangements to help my movements within the city, sight-seeing, pickup & dropoff at the bus/train stations. The breakfast at the French restaurant was sumptuous. Being a vegetarian I did not get an chance to taste their Chinese / Japanese cuisine, but I am sure it was equally good. The rooms were spotlessly clean, including baths which were accessible for handicapped. Sheets were changed regularly, and W-fi was free. It was the best hotel experience of my life anywhere in the world
None. Everything was top-class. The only suggestion may be to offer more English / variety programs on TV
The room size is good for Japan standards with very reasonable prices and a great location. The staff are very helpful and the bell captain spoke perfect English. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Yokohama!

I asked for a non smoking room, and we were on a smoking floor and someone smoked right outside our door.
The staff are extremely helpful, professional and welcoming. Rooms are spacious and extremely clean. Ideal location. Can't fault anything.
Rosita Enami is an excellent customer service representqative. I had e-mailed her several times before our booking and she promptly e-mailed me back. When I entered on the day of booking, she was very helpful and diligently helped me with our reservation.She is an asset to the Rose Hotel.
Because of the High Season, the room charge was high.
The staff was wonderful. The location was perfect. We had tours in Tokyo and Kyoto and were easily able to get to them!
We asked for a non smoking room. The room we got was non smoking but still smelled like an ashtray. Almost as if the room was smoking until it was time to check in. Then once we did the just took out the ashtrays.

The staff was wonderful, most spoke excellent English, and the location was fantastic: close to waterfront and China Town. The price was extremely good, I will definitely stay there in the future.

Located in Chinatown, surrounded by Chinese restaurants and everything Chinese. Very close to metro exit number 2! Rooms and beds are comfortable, except for too warm in October.
Centralized aircon, you can't lower the temperature. Have to open windows. Have lan, but does not offer wireless routers to customers unlike other hotels in Japan. Offers old leaky umbrellas to customers. Surroundings is too Chinese.
Staff was very friendly. the hotel was very conveniently situated in china town and within walking distance of the harbour.
The bedspread was stained. Couldn't open sliding door..or only minimally. Guests were noisy. Non smoking room stank of smoke. Room very stuffy..aircon not powerful enough. Rooms felt very dated..probably 80's vintage.
Didn't have to pay for swimming pool.
No Bottled water left in room for your use which is what I would expect for a 4 star hotel. China town a little far out of Yokohama
