  the room was much bigger than i thougt and very clean, we even could open 2 luggage in the same time and still had small path to walk. Location was convenient and there is a convenient store just right other side of hotel~ - The bed was so comfy!!   We loved our corner room at the back side of the hotel with a nice view. We stayed in 8 different hotels around Japan (3 in Tokyo), and this was one of the best for the price. - I left some money in my room and some documents. They went beyond what is necessary to return them to me. Fabulous service. Great location for nightlife.

Staff spoke some english but I get the impression this hotel is more oriented towards local or business travel.   There were many things I liked as you can see from the rating. The staff, in particular, were friendly and very helpful. They provide a great map of the surrounding area. If anything was needed, for example my bathroom light burned out, they fixed it immediately. Many of the staff spoke English. It's really close to Ikebukuro station and there's a lot of good restaurants around and staff available 24 hours a day.

It's definitely not the fanciest of places...but it was clean, had decent amenities, and worked for what we needed. Coffee maker, small fridge, interesting music system, tv. Very small rooms, not alot of space for your luggage, but it's Tokyo and you you don't get a lot of space for this price. The Thai rest

The location of the hotel is terrific; so many fantastic little food places and across the road from department store where the food hall section is open 24/7. Only two stops from Shibuya.
