  The apartments are right in the centre of town and the restaurants are all within a few minutes walk. The studio apartment we had was spacious by Japanese standards. It had a nice modern feel without loosing all of its old-worldly charm. I would be happy to go back there if we get the chance! - Loved the breakfast setup.   Kind, helpful host (we had no problems communicating even though we can't speak Japanese), wonderful breakfasts, great facilities. Our room had a wonderful view. It's incredibly hot in Tokyo at this time of year (august) but it was much cooler in Nozawaonsen. We slept with the windows open at night and needed no aircon or fan. A lovely place.
