great place in a traditional style (we took Japanese room). Though not on the budget side of price and breakfast is not included in the rate, it is worth every penny paid. Hotel location is absolutely perfect, in pedestrianized Rokkaku-dori, just off the busy Kawaramachi-dori, with hotel being well shielded from traffic by a large UniQlo shop.
