  The place was perfect for what we needed. Only a minute (or less) walk to a tram stop that would take you to both Hiroshima station and Miyajima station. It was only a 5 minute walk to the peace park, and a 10 minute walk to the main shopping district. I was traveling with my sister and our room was a perfect size for us - we only had - Couldn't be more conveniently located for the sights but not noisy as it's in a quite area nearby. Very sweet lady owner, who tries to help in every way she can. She knows just enough English but is happy to speak Japanese if you want to practice-just the right balance. She made a good recommendation for a restaurant/ bar 3 minutes walk away, which does Italian/ Japanese food. An absolute bargain for the price-a very complete Japanese breakfast.   The location of Chizuru Ryokan couldn't be better for exploring the Peace Museum area. The owner was super friendly and went out of her way to be helpful. When we decided to stay an extra night and she didn't have space, we looked online and couldn't find anything open. I stayed one night with my dad in a (very) little tatami-floored room with futons and shared bathroom facilities. Room was clean and the futons comfortable. Breakfast is not included. Yukatas and towels are provided. Booked it as a budget option and as such it didn't disappoint, I would recommend it if that's what you're after.
