  I choose Osaka as lodge for my trip to Kobe/Nara/Tokyo. As such I intend to select hotel near shin osaka while this hotel attracted me by its compelling price. Single non smoking room only cost less than Yen3700/night (I.E. hk$300), which is even cheaper than most of capsule hotels in downtown of Osaka. The original standard room we booked was too small for two of us. Luckily, there is a bigger room avaialabe and the front desk lady was willing to change us to a bigger room with additional fee. The wifi is receivable in the room. There is not much shopping around the hotel. This area is more for local resident area.

  This was our first stop after the flight. Very good value for money, smallish rooms but very, very comfortable with excellent bathroom. So close to the (SHIN-Osaka not Osaka r/stn - note this) railway station was nice. Food options nearby. The staff were excellent (found our daypack for us). Definately recommended. There is elevator for those carrying heavy luggage. Also, can take shinkansen or bullet train from Shin-Osaka Station. Nearby got 24hr restaurant. One of the staff can speak fluent English and provide very detail information for us. Others can speak simple English.

  Hotel Consort located near to Noshikajima-minamigate subway station(M14). It is just located opposite the 'exit 2' of this subway station (less than 2 minutes walk). We purchased 'Haruka(return) + Icoca' package and took Haruku raiway from Kansai Airport and stop at Shin-Osaka Station. If you are carrying luggage, i suggested not - The location of the hotel is great - only one stop away from Shin-Osaka station. There's great little restaurants just outside the hotel if you're keen for a cheap and tasty meal. The room is very budget- friendly. It has everything you need and is very clean. I felt safe here. I would recommend anyone on a budget or anyone needing last minute accommodation to stay here.
