I rented 2 apartments, both were on the top floor of a former palace. Both were incredible. Well furnished, very clean and orderly. The location could not have been better. Less than 1/2 block from the Vaparetto stop, within walking distance of San Marco, shopping, restaurants, etc. The terrace in one apt and view of the Grand Canal and Venice in the other made our stay very special. I highly recommend these apts. Special thanks to Silvia. She was incredible to work with. She is a real asset to.
kaikki arvostelut » Extremely positive attitude from the rep of the company that lets the apartment - very helpful in every respect. We also liked a terrace - though quite small, it was good we had it. Location was also very convenient - no noise, but very close to Ca'Razzonico vaporetto stop and one of major squares - St. Margherita, as well as shops and restaurants. Air-conditioner also is a huge advantage - we would not survive in Venice in July without it. All appartments located in a very old palace turned antique show room. Loved the historical character and location. We stayed on 4th floor 2 bdrm appt which was the top floor and was a very large appt with large kitchen and living room. Has elevator. Right next to main water taxi. The apartment is excellently situated and very well fitted out. The roof terace is a really good feature except that when we were there it was so hot that we often preferred the excellent air conditioning inside. Owner and staff very obliging and helpful. Location superb. Very impressed. Would certainly return. great location, tastefully decorated, lovely neighborhood, very helpful staff. Very nice apartment in prime location. Good service from Silvia. Nothing at all except the mosquitoes. I don't suppose there is anything to be done about the little biting pests. Truthfully, we have no complaints at all. Small things: there is only one bathroom (very spacious and beautiful, with a bath and a shower, 2 sinks), but the entrance into the bathroom is from one of the bedrooms (the last one). If you stay in another bathroom, you have to cross the last bathroom in order to get to the bathroom. Hot! The ac was not working however the manager was very accomidating and even moved us to a different appt which had a very good ac with a beautiful garden, She also was working on permits to get a new ac system in place to take care of the problem. Bathroom needs updating on the 2 bdrm appt, no water pressure, very difficult for 2 couples to get ready in. The bathroom can only be reached through one of the bedrooms - fine if you are a family but less good if you aren't. Missed having comfortable armchairs in sitting room. Heating a bit noisy, kitchen too basic (no microwave !), a welcome pack with some essentials would be very useful (bread, milk, tea, coffee, cereal...), mini-toiletries should be included, too many extras, (city tax and late check in).
