Such an amazing place! Wonderful hotel, beautiful pool and lounge-garden. Very nice modern design with still a lot of atmosphere. Huge breakfast with lots of savory and sweet dishes. We had the most incredible time here. The location is great - close
enough to the nearby beaches and towns to do day (and night) trips. The
pool and surrounding area with orange trees, lounges and day beds is so
peaceful and relaxing that we didn't want to leave. On top of this
the staff are all so friendly and welcoming. A special mention must also
go to the owner who really went out of her way to make our stay
something to remember. We are already planning our next visit!!

The Hotel Livingston is on the edge of the island of Ortigia. When you eat in the fourth-floor hotel dining room, the windows on three sides look largely over the Mediterranean, but also over old rooftops. We really loved the Hotel Livingston's neighborhood. Walking was a delight, there is a terrific gourmet Locanda nearby. Our room was large with two sets of French doors looking onto the street and to the sea and swimming rock! The bathroom was luxurious - loved the towel bathrobe and slippers. Breakfast was good with an extensive buffet.

What a great hotel! The sea view from our room was spectacular! Hotel is really in the heart of it all. Staff was friendly and helpful. Some have commented on the lack of parking but the reality of the tiny island of Ortygia is that driving the narrow streets *barely* wide enough for 1 car is a challenge. Breakfast is an experience on its own with wide variety and high quality, served on the terrace restaurant with a breathtaking view. Free parking just outside. Flawless.
