  Rifugio Perugia was exactly what I expected. It's position was perfect for walking in the Sibillini which was why we went there. I know those running the refuge want to put bathroom facilities into each room ( currently they are shared) but this will cost EUR 300K and they don't have this amount of dosh. However, this was a truly lovely place to s... mitä ihmiset sanovat » tay - high up in the Sibillini with lots of comparatively easy and beautiful walking around, visiting wild horses, the odd donkey, buzzards, harriers - Accommodation exceptionally well laid out and comfortable. Bath same size as room. Plenty of spread-out space to sort your gear. Staff extremely helpful. Direct access to hiking. Note that the rifugio is not actually in Castelluccio overlooking the Piano Grande, but six miles away.
