Owner spoke only a little English but we muddled through and was part of the experience.

Excellent double glazed windows meant it was quiet at night even in a busy and noisy area.
Location was excellent with all sites within walking distance and the train and metro stations 5 mins walk away.

We could see the Dome of St Peters from our window(double glazing reduced outside noise considerably).Good security with solid doors. Very helpful and pleasant staff. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. They really made us feel really welcome. As soon as we arrived they highlighted and recommended all the great places to visit and also the best ways to get there which was great for us. The facilities were good for the price we paid and the location was spot on - we couldn't have chosen a better place - right next to the Colosseum!

We stayed here in February 2013 and our stay was great. The hotel was in a great location where we were able to walk to all attractions. The hotel is on a street where there is plenty of great restaurants and bars to relax in the evening before you head back.
The hotel room was large for Europe and the staff was very nice & helpful. The hotel is on the 3rd floor of an apartment building and has 4-5 private rooms. There is an elevator and they provide keys for access to the building.

Everything. From the moment I arrived I was welcomed and valued as a resident at the hotel. It was clean and up to date. The rooms were functional but not tiny and enabled a relaxing evening after a long day walking around Rome.
The breakfast, continental style was lovely and plenty of it. WiFi was free and it allows for skyping friends and family at home. Altogether a wonderful experience for a city hotel, great value for money.

Nice and cozy rooms with new modern furniture. Staff extremely friendly and helpful, they recommended very good restaurants in Rome and also helped us find some of the locations we wanted to visit. It's a small place, but very clean and with a good vibe, we felt safe and it was a pleasure to come back after a day walking.
Breakfast was simple, don't expect more than for a typical 2 stars hotel, but we found it enough for all tastes. The rest of the hotel however was much above 2 stars.
