Mecenate Rooms is a ground-floor guest house at the foot of Rome's Parco di Traiano park. The Coliseum is just 450 metres away, and the nearest bus stop is 100 metres away. Rooms offer elegant parquet floors. The modern rooms of the Mecenate come with air conditioning, a private bathroom, and a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. Each offers free Wi-Fi, an electric kettle with tea and coffee bags, and a few snacks. A breakfast of a croissant, jam and yoghurt, but also fruit juice and cappuccino is served daily. A variety of restaurants are available nearby.

Clean room with a cute design. Flat screen tv, great brick ceiling, very homey feeling. Large room with character. Location was good. This was our second trip to Rome and I've found that I prefer staying in the Campo di Fiori region due to proximity to the most restaurants, bakeries, and shops. This location is very close to the Colosseum but quite a hike to other attractions. Also, you had better shower quick to get hot water! The hot water is very hard to come by.
