  Absolutely breathtaking views from every area of the hotel. Our room felt more like a private suite. It was very private and include a small terrace with an umbrelled table and chairs. Breakfast was superior with a courtyard...most pleasant way to start your day. Quiet stylish colonial feel to the place. All staff were outstandingly helpful. Particularly front of house and restaurant staff. Dinner in the restaurant and lunch on the terrace were memorable.   The stuff!!! "Il signore" looks like a person from Visconti's movies. He knows everithing about Florence and hotels. Very kind!!! The breakfast was good, the room nice, the situation of the Hotel excellent. Anyway we passed first without seeing the name of the hotel (is very small written). - The owners were so nice and helpful.   The staff were always pro-active and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. This holiday we've travelled through 7 countries and this has been the best place to stay by far.
