The location is good as it is situated just 3 minutes by walk from Giardini Naxos beach and 5 minutes by car from the wonderful Taormina.   We chose this BnB for its location (short walk from the bus station and also from the train station) and also because it has an option for an early check in. It is right at the beginning of one of the main streets in Agrigento, and we were lucky enough to have a balcony to people-watch from. The breakfast was very good, with fresh cheese and meat, Cannoli, cr - Sandar welcomes you to the charming B & B Portatenea, up a flight of steps, onthe lovely shopping street of Agrigento and only a stone's throw (well maybe a short drive) to the Valle dei Templi. Helpful sightseeing and restaurant recommendations. A very good breakfast on the delightful roof terrace is one f the delights of a stay. Parking is nearby and inexpensive.

  The agriturismo is lovely... the lodgings are very pretty and spacious, having a lovely patio with views of the sea and surrounded by fields. We were picked up from the port which was also very convenient. We even dined at the restaurant on the first night and that was a great experience too. Really very attentive and very flexible. A mini kitchen with everything you might need. Beautiful garden around. With great sea views There are bicycles free to use. Also it's possible to rent a scooter in place. It's a beautiful island and it's very nice to move around (bicycle for short distances and a scooter for longer).

  Giardinin Naxos is close to Taormina (about 3 km) and it is a lively and beautiful seaside resort. We think it is a far better choice than Taormina as the prices are lower and the beach is much nicer (Taormina has just a tiny rocky beach, accesible only via cable car or bus, for a rather large fee) Excursions to Mount Etna and the sorroundings ar... mitä ihmiset sanovat » e orgnized from both Taormina and Giardinin Naxos. The house itself is close to the beach, the bus stop (Chiesa San Giovanni) and the city center. The - We booked 2 rooms for 2 nights. The B&B was located very close to Taormina by car or by local bus and to the beach area of Naxos. Gaetano was a gracious host treated us very well. The beds were comfortable and the room was very clean. Breakfast was adequate, the usual Italian style dolce, with a choice of cold cereals.

  The staff made us feel at home. They even let us use their tablet to find information we needed. The food and pizza in the restaurant is more than great, with very reasonable prices. Book a table before especially on a Saturday night, as the restaurant will be full by locals, they know that the food is good. This hotel is a good example of a family run business. - Fantastic!! This is a fabulous place to stay because it has beautiful views on the Mount Etna. It is very quiet thanks to its great location in the middle of the fields. The bedroom we had was spacious and very comfortable. Now,what to say about the food? It is so delicious that my mouth is still watery just thinking about it! Staff is extremely friendly, helpful and speak great English. We will definitely stay there again and will recommend it!

  The location and view was unbeatable. From our room - room no. 3 - we could see from our balcony the Mediterranean but even better, the valley of the temples. Bring binoculars! The couple who runs mthe b&b are just lovely. The place is a little hard to fine but just look for their brightly colored (yellow) signs. She gives breakfast vouchers for a bar a little way down the street which had wonderful pastries. She gave us recommendations for dinner which were fabulous. Her hotel had beautiful linens and was beautifully appointed. Adrianna and her son are excellent inn keepers.
