This was the nicest place for the money in all our travels in Sicily.
The accommodations are modern, clean, and spacious. We enjoyed the gas stove, full-size fridge, and being able to do our laundry on site. The outside space is also lovely for eating "al fresco." Sciacca is a hidden gem in many ways. We liked the beaches, the piazza that overlooks the water in the center of town, and enjoyed the best granite down by the fisherman's wharf.

We left a jacket with passports back in Bronte at the previous night's lodging, 40 miles away by bicycle. Rosa volunteered to drive halfway back to retrieve it for us. "At no charge". Besides that exceptional gesture, the room was in a home nearby but by itself. Clean, modern, with a great shower and bed. Rosa's breakfast was stunning, and we enjoyed a wonderful talk with her family.

A pretty garden setting in a good location at San Leone near Agrigento with private,safe parking which was a priority for us.. Close to the Valley of the Temples. Clean, comfortable room and friendly, helpful hosts. We also had a private balcony which was nice. Great breakfast with freshly baked goodies, cheese, fruit etc. We enjoyed our one night stay here and it was easy to get back on the highway for Siracusa the next day.

We used the shuttle service to get from the airport to the Residenza which suited us well. The place was very clean and modern. The bathroom for the room is not actually connected to the room but across the hall. This isn't a big deal as there are only about 4 rooms in the hall. The minibar is cheap and well stocked. We really liked the welcome and the fact that we were expected. The house is large, and the room and bathroom nice and large and well functioning plus there is a very nice terrace/balcony with table and chairs. The breakfast was a wide selection of Italian stuff, juices, fruit, coffee.

The warm, friendly welcome around the table with a much appreciated cup of tea. They passed on a message received from my friend before my arrival with voluntary, generous offers of help in returning the call and making another to my previous B&B. At 70+ with no cell phone it was a welcome bonus. Loved my room with high cupola shaped ceiling and floor of old polished tiles in the central area and edged with wooden strip floor.
