We stayed here as a family for my husband's 60th birthday and 14-year-old son. We really enjoyed the all-inclusive breakfast, and the helpful staff who work there. Our host Roberto, his wife and the staff were welcoming and took extra
care of our needs. We booked two single rooms and sometimes in the past
we have been allocated tiny, substandard rooms. The rooms at the Celio
were charming, clean and the location between the Colosseo and Laterano
was fabulous. This was the first time we have ventured out of the
Trevi/Tritone area. (We go to Rome each year over past 15 years and
this experience was one of our most enjoyable. Grazie Roberto!!

The hotel staff were all very nice and extremely helpful. They assisted with setting up tours and transportation. They even packed our breakfast to go, since our tour departed before the restaurant opened. We didn't spend much time in the room other than to shower and sleep, but the rooms were comfortable with good air conditioning (August!) and doors that opened to the courtyard. We were able to walk to many of the major sites. It was lovely.
