  We were a little dubious when we first saw the doorway leading to our apartment, but then wow! A beautiful large place with 2 floors, 2 living rooms and fireplace, gorgeously decorated, and a nicely appointed kitchen and bathroom. The only downside with our young family was that Trastevere comes alive after 11pm at night, and even with the windows closed and ac o - We stayed in one of the apartments in Trastevere (Mameli) for four nights and we were 3 in total (my partner, my mom and I). It was clean, spacious, warm (cause winter), kitchen is well equipped and the shower was great. Very spacious. Free Wifi in the whole apartment was useful. We had a late arrival but the gentleman (sorry forgot the name) was waiting for us and very nice.   We liked the stay in Domus Mazzini. The location is perfect: pretty district with the architecture of 1930s, the calm place with birds singing in the morning. Fast access to the major tourist place because of 10-15 minutes walk to the Lepanto metro station. By the way Vatican- city is 20-25 minutes by feet! Also it was possible to use the facilities of kitchen side of the dinin - The owner of the hotel is a very nice and welcoming person.   This place is a Trastevere gem! The location is fantastic, right in the heart of all of the action (noise wasn't too bad, didn't have to use the ear plugs I brought). Beautifully appointed, recently renovated rooms. Staying here made us feel like we were living like locals, rather than hotel guests. We arrived earlier than the 2pm check in but managed to catch the staff just b - Beautiful character rooms nicely renovated but remained charm, with lovely luxury details, like monsoon shower head , robes and slippers available to wear, ..   We liked the location being close to the Vatican, close to the bus, metro and taxi stations. The staff is very cordial, professional and helpful. The accommodations are clean and comfortable. The roof garden terrace is great for breakfast, aperitifs, with a view which is unique in Rome. There are lemon trees, olive trees, kumquat trees, lavende... mitä ihmiset sanovat » r bushes, Bougainville bushes, and other lovely flowers. We strangely recommend the hotel as world travelers. - I found the staff of the well positioned hotel to be its greatest asset, they went out of their way to ensure that everything I did in Rome was perfect. They were great in their recommendations and everyone I had dealings with were incredibly knowledgable on Rome. I highly recommend it and would stay there again next time in Rome.

  The Eraclea apartment had a great view and was just right for the 2 of us. It was advertised as a 4 bed apartment but it would have been a bit of a squeeze to have 4 people there. It was clean and tidy and was in a perfect location for exploring and discovering the side streets of Trastevere. The apartment was quiet and we weren't disturbed in any way. - We were fully satisfied with the appartment, as everythig is pretty much the same as in description and comments.   Stayed in the Aladino Inn for seven days and can only say that this is a very good hotel for the money. The staff are extremely friendly and will give you all their time to please you, also their english is very good and I had no problems communicating to them considering I know no italian. Five minutes walk to Manzoni Metro link and Rome is all yours to explore, - Very good price to quality ratio.
