  We stayed 3 nights in Relais Frattina, everything was perfect.   What a gem! Located in an old Palazzo, in the middle of Rome's best shopping, a short walk to the Spanish Steps and the Trevi Fountain. For a few dollars more that other hotels we looked at, we had a huge 2 bedroom/2 bathroom apartment. Elise was a tremendous help in every way.   The beautiful design and attention to detail added to the overall experience. The facilities are excellent including a huge, fabulous shower. The bed was extremely comfortable and despite being on a busy pedestrian shopping street it was very quiet at night. Staff were extremely helpful, friendly and respectful. Yes, the croissant was packed, but in addition to coffee we also had a yogurt, orange juice, cookies and jam. The lady serving breakfast was very attentive. Also, we arrived 10 minutes to midnight, and a staff member waited f - Amazing location and very comfortable rooms with amazing showers. My first night I stayed in one of the rooms with no windows and though this may seem unpleasant for some, I found it great as my room was comfortable, quiet and dark making it perfect for sleeping. The next three nights I spent in the room at the front of the building with a big window you could open so it was nice and lighter but noisier due to the busy street below.
