  We loved the fact that the guesthouse was so well located. Centrally located, yet outside the cauldron tourist trap that is the Spanish steps/Trevi fountain location. The fact that we had our own fridge - restocked daily made it feel like home from home. When we returned to collect our bags, they offered us use of the bathroom facilities and a refreshing drink. The breakfast cakes were amazing, and the fridge stocked with complimentary drinks, yoghurt etc, plus the cookies and snacks available in the kitchen for guests, were a really nice touch. A great

Restaurants in the immediate area are very reasonable and I would recommend any fish dishes on any of the menus.   When embarking on our first trip to Europe this summer, we decided to use B&B's as opposed to hotel chains during our travels, hoping to get a more personal and private experience. Upon arrival we were welcomed into the "home base" of the establishment and shown to our quarters across the street in another building. On our floor was a guests' common area complete with kitchen facilities, balconi - Location was excellent (once we found it!) very close to coliseum and some nice local restaurants. Room was fairly small but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was continental-style but ample and very good. Staff were helpful but only spoke Italian but we were able to communicate through miming and some broken Italian/English.
