Location was about 10 mins walk from St. Marks Square. Close yet far enough away from crowds. Rooms were lovely.Ours was small but had view of canal while our friends had a huge room to make up for lack of view, I reckon! Personally, I loved room with a view. Staff very helpful and breakfast very tasty. All in all, great value.

-True Venice experience! The hotel is located on one of the small canals, so finding the hotel was an adventour in itself. Its entrance is located on a small side street and you walk through the ground floor of the building (past the canal boat entrance) to get to the rooms. It felt like we were staying in a Venice residence instead of a hotel.

Locanda Ca Del Console is in a very good location between the Rialto Bridge and St. Mark's Square. It isn't easy to find, but use the directions on the website along with a map and you'll figure it out eventually. The staff is very friendly, which is a big plus. We made the reservation at the last minute so we didn't have many choices. The room was big. The decor was a little strange. The breakfast was fine. Did I mention the staff is very friendly? That was the biggest plus.

Amadeus was amazingly located, roughly half way between the Rialto Bridge and San Marco Square. It is quite difficult to find initially (there's a separate Hotel Amadeus); you need to head to Saint Maria Formosa square. The staff were really friendly and the breakfast was good. They also let you leave your luggage once you check out and give you a spare key.

Mr. Ventura was so nice and helpful. He was very friendly and is
learning English, so he enjoys visiting and hearing about your day. Our
room was magnificent. We overlooked the canal and had the sounds of the
evening and morning to enjoy. Large bathroom and breakfast was very nice
and convenient. The hotel is very convenient located between St. Marks

It is a beautiful hotel tucked away on a quiet street back in the smaller canals. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is plentiful and delicious. It is also near the main hospital of Venice, which was an unexpected blessing for us during our stay.

Lady managers very hospitable and accommodating. Rushed to get room ready as we arrived early and gave us coffee etc while we waited. Gave us map of city and pointed out highlights re eating and main attractions. Room made up daily with nice fresh towels and water provided in fridge.

The location of the hotel was perfect, only 10 minutes from San Marco's which is far close enough to easily reach and far enough away to get away from the noisy crowds. Room was basic but functional and thank goodness the AC worked because outside it was 38 degrees C. Breakfast was very good and the staff were very helpful.
