Elena was lovely and couldn't do enough for us.

Sleeping with the windows open could let us enjoy all the rumors of the wild night, like if we were in the middle of the forest with a fire camp.

We stayed at the Villa to celebrate my wife's birthday. Prior to the visit I called the Villa and explained our celebration and requested the best room available for the rate paid. To their great credit we found ourselves upgraded to a beautiful suite with a complimentary bottle of chianti classico and a happy birthday note.
However it was late November and there was only one other couple staying.

The location was fantastic! Nestled on a hilltop above Greve in Chianti and with a great view of Panzano, the views are amazing. Very conveniently located for "Agritourisma" as there are dozens of wineries within short driving distance. really well. The location is definitely country and we used a gps to
locate it without a problem, and this was first time driving in Europe
on the wrong side of the road for us. Your local restaurant is in Lomore

Everything was perfect. Typical Toscana house, nice and clean room with Toscana-style furniture, relax, lavender, rosemary and other herbs in the garden, a little shop and an outdoor fitness area. But you need a car, it is a long way from Rifugium to the Greve-town. And Daniele was very nice and helpful!
