Very well equipped studio apartment in the very heart of Florence. New & clean and comfortable. Has everything you need - cooking facilities, washing machine & iron, hairdryer, kettle, big fridge etc. You could easily self-cater here. It's also right in the middle of the historic centre of Florence so is great for visiting any part of the city, restaurants, bars etc. Good value too and the guy who met us outside was friendly and prompt (which was good as it was raining!). Would definite.
kaikki arvostelut » This apartment with a location near to Pitti palace was a big positive. The walk to Ponte Vecchio is a charming one from the apartment. Numerous food joints around with a special mention about Gusto Pizza just round the corner. Clean apartment with with a good kitchen stacked with initial needed stuff. Essential items were all present including sewing kits, umbrellas etc. The reception staff was also very enterprising in giving a map with hand marked restaurants, grocery stores and sites of int. We really liked the location. We were in the "Deluxe appartment" in Piazza della Signoria, only 5 minutes walking from the Duomo or Ponte Vecchio, In the center of Florence. The kitchen is small but is ok for two persons. The girl Moraira who came to give us the keys was very kind and pleasant. The appartment was clean and well furnished. The internet used the mobile network, so it has to be located near the window to get nice coverage. Everything was what we hoped for from the advertisement but with the added extra of an exceptional staff member who really put himself out to make us feel at home on our arrival and who gave lots of really useful tourist advice. I would definitely return and have already recommended it to friends. If you are looking at 3 star hotels, don't, choose this. We were at Sdrucciolo de Pitti, 50m away from Palazzo Pitti. It is a fantastic location, close to Ponte Vecchio and the historic attractions. The apartment is good, with an excellent bathroom and shower. Staff were very helpful. Handy grocery/supermarket nearby. Great location in the apartment we got, Right in the centre of Florence, everything within easy walking distance;(2 mins to Duomo, 3 to Ponte Vecchio, 2 mins to Piazza Republica) Apartment well equipped except the bathroom; Comfortable bed and had air-con. Location. Quick walk (less than 5 mins if you walk slowly) to uffizzi, ponte vecchio, duomo, etc... Staff helpful - gave us early check in and came to find us lost in the street on arrival. You can get really big space with all the facilities in the apartment,the location is excellent as you can just walk to the main attractions.It is really valuable choice. Everything! Nothing. The only negative was that the hot water runs out after just one (moderate) shower. It is supplied by an electric water tank and there just doesn't seem to be enough hot water for 2 showers. The room was a bit gloomy with less artificial lighting present. Some of the bulbs need replacement. Dryer is not present, its only a washer. The wifi is really slow and the signal is obtainable at specific pockets only. There were some points that, although didn't spoiled our stay, they need to be undertaken. Briefly, the apartment needs a bit of maintenance. The shower support was half broken. And the bath threw water out on the floor when it was half full. The main table of the apartment was wonky, but still useful. Anyway, we still recommend this appartment. Not such a great view from our particular location. No drier - difficult to dry close. No Wifi which made booking our next place difficult; No soap or shampoo in the bathroom; Dark apartment with only 2 windows out to a central area within the apartment block; While very good value not if you have a car as it will cost €30 a day for parking; Early check out;. Broken hairdryer (not an issue but annoying). Awkward shower as holder for shower head broken. Steps (20) could be issue for imobile people . Small but noisy street if windows left open especially Nightime. It's a little big hard to find.The shower was broken and so as hair dryer. we liked everyhing!. The rubbish left in the lane way!! The storage cupboard was a bit cluttered. Apartment advertised as a one bedroom, when it was really a studio with a big heavy curtain. All the beds were really sofa beds. They were comfortable enough, but I wish they had real beds. No washing machine and picture on the booking location showed a balcony overlooking Duomo. This was not the case and the apartment had no balcony. Shower: only hot water for one person. Check in was difficult. We had to wait almost an hour for someone to arrive to let us into the Apartment. Only open 2-6 for check in or calls. Once the person arrived they were great and all went well. Communication with staff was difficult they did not answer phone only text messages. Late check in was not possible witch was not stated when booking. Very very minori issue: The apartment was the only one without internet connection. The shower heating system wasn't working. There's no hot water in the late evening due to limited hot water in a tiny tank.Have to wait for water tank to be refilled and reheated.Staff was really helpful coming over to have a check though. Steps were typical old worn Italian marble & you had to be careful...not for people with walking problems. But for the rest of us it is part of the experience of the wonderful old European cities. Staff is nice but we got problem about wifi. they gave an password but we can't join the network. Although it can sleep 8, they only have 4 dining chairs and not enough plates and silverware for 6! I could use a more thorough cleaning. Check-out time at 10:30 in the morning was uncomfortable. The check in-out place and the room is not at the same place. And it is difficult to find the check in place for the first time arrivers. The internet is unstable. Hot water in the shower barely suffice one person, and we had to wait a long time for it to refill/heat up. I wonder how it is possible to stay there in the winter. Utensils untidy. The location has no reception whatsoever even if we already bought TIM service for Internet. The shower was TINY and we only had enough hot water to last 2 minutes. They only left 1 roll of toilet paper to last 2 ppl for 3 days. No wifi like advertised. No info given about check out. Certainly not worth €109 p/n. Not so nice flat as expected. The bedroom had "damp" smell. We didn't have internet access until complained about it and got new equipment that was slow. No bed baby cot, even thou it was sold as "family room". A bit expensive. Room was grubby and could have done with a good clean. We had to wash the dishes thoughrouly before using them. one bath towel and one hand towel each, for 4 nights, yuk! Wouldn't use think Florence again. We had to pay overfee for check in after 18.00 p.m. allthough the person who brought the kees was late for at least half an hour. Not enough hot water for two of us. The bed is actually a sofa bunk bed which is very uncomfortable. Paper thin towels. Bathroom very tatty. No sofa to relax on. Kitchen facilities lacking. Bath leaked as did kitchen sink!. The apartment was disgusting, dirty, foul smelling, loud noise, live spider on mattress, hair on mattress, bathroom window that did not lock. Horrible!!.
