Great staff - family. Our "room" was situated in the basement - it was actually and entire flat with all possible things for cooking and so on. It's not far from the beach - some 10 mins walk, but a bit far from the city center, however not that far that it's not possible to walk there. The family that hosts these apartments are very friendly and welcoming.
The apartment is very spacious, clean and with a nice view (though we booked the side see view)
We stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment with 4 adults which was perfect.
You only have to cross the road to reach the beach, which is very nice with crystalclear water.
The town is just a 15 minute walk over the nice boulevard, but there are plenty of good restaurants in the close area.
We'd definitely recommend to stay here!

Apartment was very clean. The lady was quite helpful and spoke decent english. The location of the apartment is very good, hardly a two minute walk from the old town, and about a 20 minute bike ride to the Maria Pia beach.

The accomodation was very spacious, bed very comfortable and kept extremely clean. It has a home from home feeling and you can relax. It is close to the old town of Alghero but also close to the promenade and easy to get to buses for exploring. The landlady Rita is the most wonderful, friendly, caring person, and made our trip very enjoyable.

Il Sogno is in a stunning location, very peaceful, with lovely accommodation and a beautiful pool area. Alessandro is a mine of information and will advise on the best beaches and places to eat - and his wife will bake you the most beautiful cake and bread! Wonderful hosts and wonderful location, what more could you ask for!! I would recommend to anybody looking for a beautiful retreat in the countryside with a quick car journey into Alghero town.

Stafano is a very helpfull owner of the BB Alghero republic - always willing to share with you tips & tricks what to see and do in Alghero & surrounding.
In fact, BB Alghero Republic is a flat with 2 rooms for rent and 1 room where the landlord lives, what gives you a warm feeling of hospitability.
With the bargain price we have got it's a great place to stay in Alghero.

Very helpful and friendly staff who assisted us finding the hotel since it is in a new area and is not well indicated. We got a welcome drink and some home-made sweets. Location is perfect. 3 min from the seaside and 5min from the city center . Very clean accommodation comfy beds and in the house you can find everything that you want. The host is very friendly and he was kind enough to pick us up from the airport in the middle of the night .. if you go there take the bikes which are for free, they are incredibly funny :)

We rented a car and there was a free parking area just where the B&B was. The owner was very helpful and friendly. Everything very clean and a very comfortable bed. No noises at night and right in the center of Alghero.
