The big plus ,staff in all areas were all very polite and helpful. - The staff were very friendly, and helpful especially the ladies at the reception and the bar tender Pedros. The sea view on the balcony was most relaxing, as was the swimming pool. Although the machines in the gym are not modern, i found it most fulfilling to have a workout there. The breakfast was superbly presented buffet style! Keep it up!

  this is a lovely quiet getaway hotel. Close enough to Alghero town (local bus or taxi) but quiet enough to be very relaxing. For our first few days we had one of only 3 rooms in use - lovely. It got busier as time went on, but still a small enough hotel to be quiet and relaxing - Very quiet location. Family run hotel with genuinely nice staff.   Hyvä aamiainen ja sijainti - We arrived early and the staff held our bags so we could go wander around until check in. Great breakfast buffet variety. The staff was more than happy to help us and provide information. The best of all was our last day. We did not fly out until 9pm. After our check out in the a.m. they held our bags so we could go... mitä ihmiset sanovat » to the beach all day then allowed us to shower upon our return in the p.m. - Service was outstanding: the receptionist was very helpful and friendly.When I checked out, as my flight was leaving very late I was offered a cortesy room for later on to take a shower.   My girlfriend and I spent several days staying here in September 2013. As many others have said, Alessandro and Monica are wonderfully hospitable and helpful. To put this into context, down the years I have travelled to well over 100 countries, staying in all manner of accommodation from 5* hotels to backpacker hostels. We were supposed to be self-catering but Monica brought us de - Il Sogno is in a stunning location, very peaceful, with lovely accommodation and a beautiful pool area. Alessandro is a mine of information and will advise on the best beaches and places to eat - and his wife will bake you the most beautiful cake and bread! Wonderful hosts and wonderful location, what more could you ask for!! I would recommend to anybody looking for a beautiful retreat in the countryside with a quick car journey into Alghero town.
