This Guest House is absolutely SPOTLESS. Comfortable beds, good shower, beautiful guest sitting room,parking, 15 minute walk to town, access to garden,lovely hosts, tea/coffee making facilities in our room, hairdryer and plenty of electrical sockets for our own gadgets. There is a limited selection for breakfast so some may find that a negative. H

Asked, at the breakfast table, what I would like for breakfast I answered that I usually started my days with a cup of coffee and a croissant. My landlady explained that she had no croissants but if I did not mind waiting a few minutes she would send out for one! During the three nights I stayed I was asked on several occasions if everything was 'OK' and if there was anything further I would like.

Lovely views over the Shannon from the bedrooms. Unfortunately I didn't have the best view due to the window being small but my friends beside me had!
I loved the easy parking which removed alot of potential stress
The service as breakfast was superb and the staff couldn't have been nicer -

Met us at the door, very helpful and friendly, showed us the room, made sure we were warm and gave us directions to local places we would be able to get food at such a late hour.
Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. Only sorry we were only staying 1 night - would definitely go back.

The hospitality and friendliness of Peter and Helen was fantastic. We have never stayed in a guest house that had proprietors that were as helpful and accommodating before. The breakfast was superb and we would rank it of equal if not higher standard than the best of hotels. The room was spacious. Clean and very comfortable. We liked the private access to our room and how each room opened directly into a garden and patio are. It is our intentions to return in the summer if not before.

Our stay in the farmhouse was simply perfect: the room was huge and very comfortable, and breakfast couldn't have been better (or bigger!). This family is very welcoming and the location is beautiful, quiet and peaceful.
