What can I say? A beautiful house set in a beautiful position on the side of Lough Neagh. The welcome was very warm and the accommodation and breakfast were immaculate.
Elizabeth was very helpful and had good knowledge of the surrounding area and gave us good information on restaurants and walks etc.

The Bed & Breakfast is located close to walking distance to the city. Kevin and June the owners are friendly. Kevin is helpful with organizing tours and knowledgeable of the local area and city. They provide comfortable, clean premises and a great Irish breakfast menu.

We were thrilled with our stay at Ashlea House. Our room was spacious and cheerfully decorated, with a great view of the harbour. Thoughtful additions were made to the typical tea tray, such as cappuccino mix and biscuits. Most impressively, when we told Geraldine, the hostess, that we were in a bit of a hurry to leave due to our travel plans, our breakfast came out more quickly than I even thought possible. Going home . We left early as beds were uncomfortable . owner was unfriendly and when we left had only wore a dressing gown and didnt speak . Place only suitable for two people . Bed and sofa bed need replaced. It shouldnt even have one star . Owner needs to b up early to get fullyclothed. -

Location was a close walk to downtown. Staff was very friendly (always called me a cab as I didn't have a phone), helped me print train tickets and answered all my questions. Bathrooms were quite clean. Only thing that maybe was a downer was the wifi in my room wasn't great, but it was great eveyrwhere else so it didn't make a difference to me really

The room was toasty and the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was spotless (the towels smelled great too). We had parking available for us at the B&B, so we were out of the way of the busy Portrush streets. the owner was very welcoming, he gave us an upgrade to a bigger room free of charge, he gave us the numbers of local taxi firms so we could get home from the wedding reception, and our own front door key so we could come in late! it was a lovely warm room, comfortable bed and en-suite, just what we needed. This B&B is outstanding and as good as many 5 star hotels. Room and ensuite were spacious & beautifully appointed. Luxury bedding & towels. Breakfast superb - fruit freshly prepared, porridge lovely, excellent hot choices. Host very friendly and helpful regarding local knowledge. I don't know what you could do to experience a better B&B than this. Having spent 4 weeks in B&Bs in UK & Ireland this one beats them all by a long way.

It was also very relaxing and i had a room with a great view of the sea. Also they have a lift in the building which is a bonus as i didn't need to pull my suitcase up a flight of stairs.
