  I stayed post valentines day with my partner and unexpectedly got engaged! It was a perfect setting and I adored the decor of the courtyard suites...was only sorry we could not stay and enjoy them longer. Staff were very friendly but not intrusive. We ate in Darbys which struck a nice balance between good (not gourmet) food and relaxed atmosphere.... mitä ihmiset sanovat » Breakfast in the long room, if lucky enough to have a window seat, is pretty special as well. This is not a cheap hotel but off peak it's amazingly g - Doonbeg reminded me of withering heights driving up to it but has the luxury fell inside like an old manor .   The hotel was just lovely with Noel & staff bending over backwards to make your stay perfect. The room was pristine clean and I was delighted when I stepped into the bathroom in my bare feet - the tiles were warm with underfloor heating and there were heated towel rails.   Very friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Check in was not till three but when i arrived at half twelve to see if i could park in the grounds while till then, the owner organised for our room to be available within the next half an hour! Just what you expect from a B&B to be: confy bed at night and cosy breakfast in the morning. The owner was really nice and helpful giving directions and planning your journey. Breakfast had several choices and it was good.

  Very friendly staff - nothing was too much trouble and in fact they went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. The quality of the room and food left nothing to be desired.   Beautiful grounds, the view of the cascades, the front of hotel was gorgeous. The spa was fantastic, outdoor hot tub was a real treat. Pool at night time provided a great ambience. Sauna with glass wall again contributed to lovely atmosphere. Lovely service in Thai restaurant and a great meal. Breakfast had great selection also.   Lovely spacious house, well equipped. All bedrooms en-suite. Weather was lovely when we wre there and there was lots to do. We visited Innishere and had a great day on bikes. they can be hired on the island for £9. Cliffs of Moher and Doolin caves are a must see and all close by.
