Liked everything, location staff decor rooms etc
Breakfast. Very poor. Have had better in budget chain hotels.
Lovely rooms,great spa, friendly staff.
Bath was too small, only coffee for 2 cups (1 cup each) and water provided in room wasn't chilled.
Service was pitch-perfect. Very attentive without the utterly ridiculous snootiness that staff can be affected with in some five star hotels. The staff were lovely. Very helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend this hotel.
We loved everything about the Muckross Park! We spent two nights for our wedding anniversary and felt thoroughly looked after and spoiled. Right from the minute we arrived and were met by Ted the concierge, who was knowledgeable and friendly to the reception and bar staff. It really made our whole trip and we will return without a doubt.
Don't miss an evening at Molly Darcy's with live music, dancing and brilliant food and service or a treatment in the spa - just perfect!
Kerry is such a beautiful county that this whole area is worthy of a longer stay as the Dingle peninsula, National Park and Ring of Kerry are all so stunningly beautiful it would be a shame not to see it all.
Beautiful & peaceful setting. Welcome and service at Molly Darcy pub.
The service in the hotel bar was missing. My wife and i sat for over 30 minutes on our arrival night and not once did anybody bother taking an order. We left without a drink and took our patronage elsewhere.
Couldn't fault anything! Look at the pictures and the hotel really does live up to the dream in every way
Friendliness of staff; comfortable beds; well appointed rooms; quality of food; spa facilities good for disabled.
Decor very dated and 'mismatched'; disabled bathroom didn't have an emergency cord; a lot of maintenance issues - furniture with handles missing, kettles that don't switch off automatically when boiled; worst manicure I've ever had.
The helpfulness of the staff, the luxury accommodations, the delicious food.
The rain shower heads are too close to the wall- when you leaned back into the spray, you would lean on the lever that shuts off the spray.
Your promotion of hotel reflected exactly as was.
No negatives other than lack of swimming pool .
Today such leisure hotel should have .
Absolutely everything. Was one of the most beautiful places I have ever had the luck to stay at. Supremely elegant, well appointed and close to all you need to experience from Killarney. Recommend to anyone.
Pity you have to pay to use the pool and hot tub. I can understand the treatments but the pool should be part of your stay there. I gave the reception a hand written note from another hotel manager who knows this manager, and he wanted us looked after. The manager of Muckross did not seek us out the entire time we were there. Disappointed as little things make a big difference.
The welcome we got from staff at reception and in the breakfast room was excellent...well done.
First-class professional service
Luxury accomodations perfectly located on the Ring of Kerry with easy quick access to city and shopping as well as the beautiful countryside. The staff were great and the old pub had great food and entertainment.
Although the hotel's two restaurants were great, there were no other restaurants in walking distance.
The most helpful and friendliest staff we have meet at any hotel in
Ireland. The Molly Darcy resturant hotel attached is a great pub, superb
meals, and live music. Location to the lakes and National parks.
It's a good 5-10min drive from the centre of town.
Staff were friendly, inviting and helpful our stay was most luxurious and relaxing. Highly recommend this top class hotel.
Great Staff: Very professional
~friendly, interesting waiter-Andreas
~easy access to Spa from room
~big bottles of water in room
~proximity of park
~view from room
~noise from boilers?
Very efficiently run and super clean. Good parking.
Probably not the warmest, most welcoming place we've stayed at. Staff were pleasant but a little distant. And not a great wifi system, apparently with filters that block some normal access eg iCloud.
We loved Muckross Park Hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
The breakfast was good, and the food and drink at the attached pub were
excellent. The room and bath was beautiful. The location was perfect for
us. It's away from all the busyness of Killarney and directly across
the street from the National Park and an easy path to Muckross Abbey and
Muckross House. I wish we'd stayed another day and taken advantage
of the bikes they have to loan, so we could have explored even more of
the Park and the area.
The only quibble I have with the hotel is that they did not have feather
pillows. They provided some alternatives to foam pillows that were
adequate, but we still prefer feather.
Very upscale, nice hotel. Rooms and bathrooms and very large. Lots of space for your luggage! Staff is super accommodating and you can get just about anything at breakfast. Highly recommend if you're looking for someplace posh to stay at.
The water to fill the whirlpool tub was yellow. So much for that! Wifi was not good in our room (had to go downstairs).
Beautiful hotel - stunning furnishings, good food and very
A few maintenance issues - our balcony needed a coat of paint, cigarette
butts were left lying around, table on balcony had not been cleaned for
ages, dirty glasses in room were not replaced the next day.
bedroom spacious and nicely furnished.Bathroom modern & luxurious.Breakfast first class. My wife loved the spa treatment with masseuse Madeline. Just across the road from Muckross Park.
Frank Sinatra was played on a loop for two days !Costs ten euro to use the pool, although this was not charged when we booked spa treatment. This is normally included in hotel price.
we were very unhappy with the restaurant menu. there was no steak or chicken on the menu. on the monday morning when we came down for breakfast at approx 8.10am the fry was not available and we had to wait at least twenty mins for it to come out from kitchen.
The hotel itself and spa were fantastic. The staff couldn't be more helpful and friendly. The hotel pub was friendly with a good atmosphere and the food was excellent and good value for money.
I felt that it was a bit much to ask for an extra 10 euros per person to use the spa facilities when i had already paid 398 euros to stay there for 2 nights. Also everything in the spa was way overpriced, for a five star hotel there was lots of little things like in the spa missing tiles on the walls and seats, the pool jacuzzi and outdoor hot tub weren't hot enough but maybe that's just personal taste I suppose
I liked the style and decor when you enter. I loved the staff, they were so friendly, attentive and professional. The rooms were luxurious and spotless. The food was also top class
This 5 star hotel serves a 7 star breakfast. Best looking breakfast
ever. Spa was relaxing as well. I always say its the little things that
make a good hotel great and the little thing as in being given bottles
of water for our ongoing journey was a lovely treat after a great stay.
Could include the €10 charge for use of the spa area in the
Everything was lovely. The staff were very helpful and attentive.
The food was very good. The residents bar was very nice.
The coffee at breakfast was not great.
Our room had a door to an adjoining room and we could here the other people talking and their tv on. I didn't like this as I was trying to rest on day pm after a massage and they has the match on.
The relaxation , the comfort , the friendliness, the cleanliness. The food.
That i could not stay longer.
this hotel is absolutely stunning and the thermal sweet is the most amazing i have ever seen!! staff were staff were so friendly. we really enjoyed ourselves and will definitely be going back again!
Had a deluxe room & loved it . My stay was for a wedding would have liked to spend more time there . Hadn't enough time in hotel .
Found wedding meal & breakfast very uncomfortable because of the heat had no air- con on during meal time .weather very hot needed air -con on for 5 star hotel .
The food in Moly Darcys.
Having to pay for a swim.
Old TV, remote didn't work.
This is not five star, maybe four star.
The friendliness of the staff, especially Teddy, he is a great asset to the hotel. The availability of tea, coffee, chilled fruit drinks & water free of charge at different points around the hotel. The gift of two bottles of water for each guest in a lovely gift bag when checking out, very thoughtful.
