We found out about the Gables online as we were traveling in the area.
We found it to be an excellent B&b and the only reason our ratings
were good in some areas instead of excellent was that the weather was
extremely cold and although our rooms had heaters and heated beds, it
was still a bit cold in the rooms. We stayed in the apartment, whic

huge and had a full kitchen with complimentary tea and coffee, an
electric fireplace, and a very nice welcoming snack of tea and scones.

Having stayed in numerous Bed and breakfast facilities over the last 20 years we would have to say that the Gables Bed+Breakfast is one of the very best we have ever stayed in. We were overwhelmed with the attention to detail Maeve and Aiden paid to our stay. Words fail to fully describe the welcome we received, and if you want quality at a very modest price, with an excellent breakfast in to the bargain then get to Gables B+B Ballygriffen, Arklow.
