Just a 10-minute walk or a 1-minute drive from Bunratty Castle and Folk Park, Parkhouse B&B is set in beautiful landscaped gardens. Shannon Airport is less than 15 minutes’ drive from this bed and breakfast. A power shower and a hairdryer are provided in each private bathroom. A TV and tea and coffee facilities are included in each simply decorated room. Some rooms feature garden views. A varied breakfast menu is served in the light dining room. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the Parkhouse B&B. Scenic walks can be enjoyed in the surrounding County Clare countryside. Limerick city centre is a 15-minute drive away. Water sports and fishing are possible on Lough Derg which can be reached after a 40-minute car journey.

Sad to have stayed only the one night at the Parkhouse. The O'Briens were fabulous hosts and very welcoming. The room was a good size, with everything you'd need for a short stay, and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic, with a good variety of dishes, all beautifully cooked and presented (I loved the french toast with bacon and syrup, and my partner enjoyed a marvelous full Irish). The b&b is a mere minute's drive from Bunratty Castle and Folk Park (or about 10 minutes.
kaikki arvostelut » Sean and Sinead were very gracious hosts who went out of their way to make us feel welcome and relaxed. The room was lovely and clean with everything you need at your fingertips. Breakfast each morning was plentiful and delicious. The location was perfect for us as we could travel in a variety of directions, keeping the Park House as our base. Sean was a terrific tour guide giving us local insight into the places to visit and where to eat. We were made feel very welcome and we highly recom. What a lovely, lovely family - it was like walking through the door to visit one of my own family. Their breakfast was by far the best we experienced - the topper a serenade by their young son Rory while we ate. Great proximity to Bunratty Castle. Rooms were comfortable and inviting - the wifi connection exceptional. We would definitely stay there again. Shane and Sinead were wonderful hosts. We felt instantly a part of their family. The rooms were very well kept, clean, comfortable. The sitting area and dining were very comfortable. Came home to a fire in the hearth on a cold, windy summer day. It was absolutely the best B&B in which we stayed on our 10 visit to all parts of Ireland!. Our room was comfortable and clean and featured all the amenities we needed. The location was convenient to the airport, the Bunratty Castle and Limerick, as well as other destinations. Shane and Sinead and their family were warm and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious and served in a lovely dining room. I liked the nearness to Blarney Castle and Shannin.Airport. We were able to walk.to the Castle and Folk Park and dinner. The owner made all arrangements for our taxis to the airport early the next day. She also moved breakfast time up 15 min. so we could have breakfast before the taxis came. Extreme friendliness of the staff; comfort/cleanliness of the room; eagerness to please. Hostess gave us great advice about where to go to eat - the food was excellent and the restaurant was very romantic! Loved being so close to the castle. owners couldn't do enough for you, so warm and welcoming plenty of parking, handy for pubs and restaurants and particularly for visiting the castle and folk park which was the main reason for our visit and well worth going to!. Sinead was extremely sweet and welcoming, and her chef husband prepared amazing French toast. They had great coffee, too! We walked to and from Bunratty Folk Park, as well as the banquet. The night we stayed it was wet, cold, and rainy. When we arrived back in the evening after dinner Sinead had left hot water bottles outside our bedroom door. What a nice touch!. The owners were lovely people. Unbelievably accommodating and helpful. Really enjoyable stay and would recommend it to anybody looking to stay in that part of the world. Nice comfortable and quite B&B with an excellent location. We had a really large room, bright and beautifull and the host couple is really friendly and welcomming. The host family is very lovely and helpful. They were warm and welcoming and available to answer our questions regarding our travels. We felt like we were a part of the family. It is also close to Bunratty Park. Sinead was great, close to town and bunratty castle/folk park. Breakfast was delicious. The O'Briens were gracious, accommodating hosts who helped make our stay pleasant. We stay there every year as our last leg of Ireland.It is our treat to ourselves. Hostess was extremely helpful - a great resource for local sightseeing. Very friendly welcome and great recommendations for local food. Proximity to Bunratty castle. Room was nice. Terrific hosts and great location. Nice hauskeepers. Not a thing!. Not one thing. Not being able to stay longer - we will definitely return on our next trip to Ireland. not much - maybe a fridge in the room and some shower gel/shampoo would be good but not that important. There wasn't anything I minded!. None, all is great. We enjoyed everything. Bathroom a bit small. Curtains not thick enough to keep out the light in the morning!. Silverware and dishes were not very clean at breakfast.
