The hotel was great for the stay. Breakfast was good, more grain, wheat bread would have been nice however. It was quiet enough to have a good night sleep considering how close it is to the road. The art is a nice touch, never a boring moment. It is a nice place to stay in Surabaya if you are on a budget. The rooms were new and interesting with the playful art on the walls. The breakfast was really good. Big variety of interesting food. I have traveled in a lot of S E Asia and this was one of the best restaurants in a low cost hotel. Bar at night was a high lite for this non tourist town.

Design. Every room has a different wall pop art. Staff are friendly and helpfull. Room service open 24 hours. Excellent choice of breakfast buffet. Additional person charge for breakfast is very affordable. Good choice for short stay in Surabaya. Friendly staff, everyone is ready to help. Stylish design. Normal proportion price/quality. It takes 30 min by taxi to the international airport. Amazing hotel! love the concept, simplicity, and decor. one of the most comfortable hotels I have ever stayed in. Very attentive staff and the cleanliness was spotless. Very kind staff (actually I couldn't understand well someone's English, but may be it's my fault). Quite comfortable room. Not so far from the airport. iPod Dock in my Room (type 25), touch of art on the wall, cleanliness is good, the pillow and the bed is comfortable, Love the Art concept !!. i like the design of the hotel, it mix art and modern design blend with love and joy. And of course the food is MAKNYUSS says Pak Bondan. It was really Nice that every room had his Own design. And The interieur of The hotel was really extraordinairy, friendly Staff. The artistic impression and the layout of the building design. Gives you a warm and home feel when you step in. The hotel room is clean and comfortable. The staffs are friendly and the hotel has nice and chic design. The design of the lobby and corridors definitely gives some personality to the hotel. One of the best looking hotel I've ever visited. Truly a "boutique" hotel, Artotel lives up to its name with representations of modern art in statues and murals everywhere, including in the rooms themselves. The breakfast had impressive variety, and the dishes were both aesthetically pleasing and tasty. The staff was enthusiastic and genuine. The rooms, although small, were comfortable. Hotel is very fashion and modern. The staff are very kind and enthusiasm; Breakfast is quite good. Room is very nice. design concept of each room may bring a differnet experience. location, cleaness & bed comfortnes. The bed is clean and comfortable. Room was clean. What's not to like about illy coffee. You kidding right?. Mosquitos in the smoking area. So don't smoke. Got it. nothing. I've found small lizzard in the bathroom, and my husband throw it outside the room. But it was not a big problem for me. No additional facilities. This is bed and breakfast hotel. Meal in the hotel`s restaurant is so-so, may be good for Indonesian. there was no fridge in the room but i wouldn't need one anyway for short stay. Some problems with wi-fi in the room (finally solved). Hotel corridor not clean (but the room was ok). a bit smelly when the first time we enter the room, like a smoke from cigarette.. but it's gone after we turn on the AC.. No fridge, but that's not a problem for short stay.. Nothing. Wifi in the room was intermittent. the croissant for breakfast was dry and the wifi did not work at times. It´s not as close to the airport as we thought, it took between 45 to 60 minutes in a cab. No carpet in room. Feels a bit empty. Hotel staff forgot to arrange our complimentary pickup at the airport. However, they replaced it with a complimentary transport to thr airport which was not included. Improve internet / wifi usage. Need to add a fridge to all rooms. Room at the front side very noisy due to traffic. Everything was good. Breakfast menu, parking area, hospitality. not much parking area. The location is not within walking distance of anything of import. The resto prices were a bit higher than local custom would dictate. Food preservation invited poisoning as warmers were not powered, letting food reach room temperature (dangerous in any resto). Typical of SEA building standards, the rooms were noisiest closest to the street as the concrete walls turned the halls into echo chambers. My room has city view, so at night, it is too noisy outside for me to have a good sleep. It is really a worse night for me during the whole trip. The hotel should use double-layer windows instead of single-layer windows. leak of sound proof system in room and bath room sliding door with keyless is a NO. Room isnt worth for money value. cos its too small, too simple. Wifi was terrible no signal in the room (417). Breakfast had limited selection and unorganized. The ambiance and visions of art hotel is not as I expected. I was expecting for catchy and awesome art match with its hotel name. The hotel is noisy, apart from the busy road, i can hear the loud noises from furniture been moved. There is no face towel.
