Should have at least some tea/coffee making facilities in the room which was provided later on request, bathrooms need a bit of attention and at least a bath soap/shampoo/shower gel should be provided, a lot of guest houses provide this for the same price as the Grand Tiara - on the whole, satisfactory. Also agree that drinking water glasses should be provided.
Essentially quiet and organised. The meal was served promptly and the staff were efficient in helping with my airport transfer. The Wi Fi worked well and although the room was basic it was comfortable.kaikki arvostelut »

It was not easy to find initially. The rooms are not exactly soundproof and I could hear the TV through the wall.

The welcome was a bit brusque - we got in late at night but were barely in the door, exhausted, without putting our luggage in the room before being asked for our passports and to pay. We were also asked for a 'present' of some money in our currency which was a bit cheeky! But this was no problem really and we'd definitely choose this place again.

Menu is very Limited and Food is SO SO
There is no Shower Curtain or partition in the toilet, rendering the Loo totally wet after bath.
Service not good, staff not helpful.
Food is very costly.They take advantage because there are no competitors around there and no decent restaurants nearby.
They also need to adjust their breakfast timings for guests. I needed breakfast at 6:30 am, I was told that they could only serve it by 7 am. Then I asked them to serve me a fruit platter which they again rejected.
Far from Train station Egmont, hassle with taxi, though near to the Airport still same price for taxi (600 IR); surrounding full of heavy traffic, near city highways, no where to walk. Lower middle class hotel, overpriced.
