Then he added that he has such cable at home and will - The hotel was situated very close to the metro with lots of little restaurants and shops scattered around the area. Unfortunately it isn't very close to the beach, however you can take a couple of trains and get there relatively easily in about 40mins. We checked out early purely because we wanted more of an island experience rather than an 'Athens city' one. You will definitely get the feel of what it's like living right in the middle of Athens. Staff were friendly and very helpful.

  We believe this hotel to have one of the best positions in Glyfada, with not so much noise from the main road. Bill, Dina, George, and George are some of the best we have come across on this very extended trip of Europe.   This was our second stay in this hotel - the first one had been 15 years ago and we immediately loved both the hotel and its neighbourhood. When we decided to visit Athens again this year, there was not a doubt for a single moment that we would stay at the Exarchion Hotel again. The owner of the hotel gave me a map and told which places worth visiting. Also he provided a lot of helpful information about the city. The rooms are relatively small but cozy. They were cleaned once a day. The towels were also changed on a daily basis. I was very pleased to find 2 teeth brushes and tooth paste in a bathroom. Air Condition system worked properly. Breakfast was good and substantial. Location is very convenient. It takes 20 min from the hotel to Acropolis

  The concierge spoke English well and was patient with me although the letsbookhotel.com website misrepresented the description for a "sun terrace", which is just a standard balcony and not a outdoor area with sun and views of the city. Especially George. He can easily be at the Four Seasons! He, almost always went out of the way to make the stay effortless. Terrific levels of hygiene / cleanliness! I was impressed by how efficiently the room was made up by the house-keeper, in a matter of 2-3 minutes. This is probably one of the best locations for at this price range, however, the pictures (on letsbookhotel.com) showing the Akropolis from the hotel is bit of a stretch!
