George, Barbara and their family went out of their way to make me feel at home and gave me all the information I needed to make my stay an enjoyable one. Great location and value for money, close to bus stop, included transfers to and from the port, on-site parking, easy access to Fira by foot, and fantastic service!

We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Margarita, even though there were electricity problems on the island while we were there. The breakfast was great, and the staff were lovely, leaving fresh fruit for us from their farm and dropping us to the port when we left. Good pool. Rooms were cleaned immaculately daily. -

You can rent a car or an ATV or scooter directly from the hotel at very good prices. better prices than what I saw in Fira.

Pension George is run by a family who take such great care of their guests. For instance they picked us up at the port when our ferry came in at 1:00 am and dropped us off at the airport and port when it was time to leave--with no extra cost!

Location was quiet and away from crowds of tourists in Fira. Only a 20 minute walk to Fira or 5 minute bus ride.
The little village has retaurants if you don't want to go to Fira and of course cheaper!
Helen the owner is an English woman married to a Greek so her English is perfect which can be handy!! She is also very helpful regardinf tours etc and they are very accommodating regarding pick up and drop offs to port or airport for free.

This is the place! I can't quite describe it otherwise, but this place feels like "home." We received 5 star quality service as the owner who is also the concierge, receptionist, driver to many excursions, and the driver from and to the airport is always there when you need him! I honestly can't figure out how he does it. The rooms are clean, neat, and serviceable with a feeling and style from this island. Oh, and the wi-fi was very useful. Everything was great for us!

Very good and quiet location and a perfect base for exploring Santorini. Busstop, bakeries, supermarket, mini markets and tavernas within a few minutes walking distance. 15 - 20 minutes walk to Fira or catch the bus that runs frequently. The owners are very nice people who really make you feel welcome. At arrival they pick you up at the airport or the port and take you there again when you leave. Also the Wi-Fi in the room is reliable and fast. I will stay there again next time on Santorini.

The staff, although they couldn't speak English very well were so friendly and very able to help us out in any way we needed. 15 minutes from Thira bus station, in a little village, Villa pavlina is a quiet hotel.
The owners will be happy to help you with anything, plus you get free transfers from/to the hotel.
We slept OK but could hear our neighbours.
