What can I say about this adorable family run pension in Kastraki? Just go there! First of all, because the people are really friendly and pleasant. Especially Dimos, the owner, who even offered us a drink on our second night, and entertained us talking about Greece. The pension furniture is so kitsch you can't help loving it! There is nothing you won't find there, every space is full with unique pieces and objects that look like coming from every corner of the world... The room was clean and h.
kaikki arvostelut » This is my second time in Zozas , third time in the region. Kastraki is a very small place where you can feel the mystical atmosphere of Meteora. Zozas is a wonderful place to stay at with its hospitable , very welcoming hosts. It takes a very little time to go to the monastries and Dumos describes everything in detail. Whenever I go to the region, I feel wonderful. Although I still cannot understand how the monastries were built then, their view is gorgeous and you feel as if you were in anoth. What a view. We had a room with a balcony. The place is stunning, and we got to see it with a full moon. The owner was very helpful, I wasn't well and the owner from the Hercules hotel in Olympia rang to ask if we could change days and they were in agreement. Thanks to both these hoteliers. The decor very cool, nice outdoor sitting areas in the garden, where you can view some of the fabulous rock formations. Hope you like cheese and salami for your breakfast. The room was very comfortable,the b. The owner of the hotel was so nice. He tried his best to do everything I needed. I had to take the train to Athens at very early morning, he prepared a bag of breakfast for me. I enjoyed the breakfast on the train and others traveller ate only cookies they brought themselves. Taking a walk at the quiet village was a wonderful experience for me. The view form the room was also good. We were very pleased to stay at Zozas Rooms in Kastraki. After a long day of climbing, the relaxing beds were everything we wanted for a good sleep. Very clean hotel, with welcoming hosts, ready to help you in anything you need. They prepared an excellent breakfast for us, that proved to be more than enough. I would recommend this hotel to all my friends that visit Meteora. Easy to find, good location, with nice view to the Meteora from most of the rooms. The host is very kind and friendly. He provided us with all information and advices we need. The breakfast was incredible generous, it was the best breakfast we had in Greece ever. The owners are wonderful people. Nothing in particular, maybe the shower was a little bit uncomfortable, because when you draw the curtain the WC keeps you company (!), but in two weeks in Greece I haven't seen a proper shower, and anyway it was not a big problem. It is a little far away from the train station. The quadruple room had no Meteora view. No elevator. It was noisy until late night, surprisingly high traffic. Wifi only works in central part of the building, our room was too far for that. Bathroom, needs more shower curtain installed to stop the bathroom from flooding. Rather modest breakfast, but we did not go hungry. None. nothing. Shower was substandard. The breakfast is a big let-down.
