  Pension Panorama was actually closed due to heat not working, so we were directed to stay at another 'Hotel Panorama' a few miles down the road. They offered us the same rate for the room as well as breakfast, which was nice.

  Excellent location just outside the town wall and only two mins from the market square. Rooms are big if you ask for their superior category. Excellent breakfast buffet. Very friendly service. - Restaurant was first class. Size of room. Location near Market square. Easily the best hotel in Coburg.

  The Square Coburg is in a wonderful location - right on the corner of the main square. We were there during the Weihnachtsmarkt and we had an amazing view from our room. Everything you need is within walking distance and the bäckerei below it is very handy. Monika was delightfu - Even though Coburg is a hidden gem under the historical German towns & beautifully preserved & restored with lots to see, good restaurats &C. There has been no acceptable hotel/b&b is the center (which is where you want to stay) - so The Square finally filled that gap with spacious, no frills but also no eyesore designed rooms, good beds & sheets & very friendly staff.

  Very kind managers, nice location - There were a bottle of sparkling water and some fruit free of charge in the room. Although it does not have a restaurant for supper, the front desk clerk was kind enough to tell me the nearest one which is 500 m from the hotel. A fitness club is next to [not included in] the hotel.
