  Once i got to the hotel, i never had to take public transport much again, as it is a 5 min walk to shops and the Koelmesse, which was where i went everyday for 4 days. The daily breakfast was very filling, and all you can eat!   The staff was very friendly and most helpful. My room was very comfortable and clean and the breakfast was an added bonus! It was also very conveniently located near the rail station, restaurants and only a short walk over the river to the cathedral and museums! - The breakfast was outstanding, and the staff was friendly.   Very friendly and helpful staff, small and calm hotel in the near of Koeln Messe and -important- the Lanxess Arena. I stayed there because of the IIHF Icehockey World Championship in Germany and I have to say that I enjoyed the time absolutely.
