We were there for Volksfest and it is a 10 - 15 euro taxi for a group of 6 depending on traffic so it was perfect location. It is about a 10 euro taxi into the city as well.
It is a very clean hotel and comfortable exactly what we needed. -

Been a long time since we stay at a Ibis Hotel. Last time was in 2007. Glad to know that they still are a familiar place. You know what you´ll get when you book a Ibis Hotel. And glad to know that they have improved. Bed and pillows were fantastic. Good shower and room decoration was better than we remember.

it's a budget hotel in Heidelberg which located next by Train Station. it's far away from old town, you better take city tram or bus or drive to there. have free parking but not enough parking space in front of the hotel. it's hard to find the 2nd parking area, you better ask you travel buddy to go to check-in first and get the instruction with map for getting to 2nd parking area.

Good value for money - for a short stopover and if you have no expectations (just a small room + shower). Wi-fi worked Ok and breakfast was basic but tasty. -

We staid just a night there, cause our flight was early in the morning.
In the morning the taxi picked us up und brought to the airport (it is included in the room prise).
Also we left our car in the hotel. That was a nice thing to pick it up so close to the airport after the trip.

This was a nice hotel with a compact but clean room with a very comfortable bed. The location was close to the train station and easy to find. Hotel is right by the main train station. If you get three after hours of operation for the front desk ( after 2200hrs) there is a KIOSK machine in the main lobby where you can either pay for your room or look up your reservation. The vending machines have a nice variety in them. -

Room special price of 59 Euros made it good value. However if I had of paid full price I would not have been so kind in my rating. A good functional room with nothing special. Excellent location. Wifi free access was very much appreciated. -
Hotel booked only for transit, then, no high expectation.
