The location was the only issue -although technically in the city center it is somewhat isolated and there is little by way of shops or restaurants in the immediate area. Although on S-Bahn, the routes require changes to get anywhere interesting.   The motto of the hostel says that it is a luxus hostel. I was a guest a whole week and I fully confirm that it is true. Because of my job I spend about 200 nights during a year at good hotels (3-5 stars) and very occasionally, when I travel privately I’m a guest of the hostels. I have never stayed at a better hostel!   Very good, economical choice for a couple of days in the city. At first sight it didn't fulfill my expectations, but i soon changed my mind. It's in a walkable to the city centre location, 20 minutes in a low pace, going by the river, or if someone doesn't want to walk can take the tram from a stop 2 minutes away from the hotel. The neighborhood is normal, safe and quiet, althought opposite of the hotel there - The local staff were very friendly and accommodating, and made our stay quite nice. Although the hotel's central booking department (located elsewhere) was confusing and not so responsive. Overall, the hotel was a good value for the area. I would recommend it and stay here again so long as the price is decent.
