It's modern and clean and has a range of excellent facilities.

24h reception with really helpful staff.
Fairly big secure locker included in the price, each bed has a light and electricity socket, my room had a private bathroom too even if not specified in the booking, not sure if all rooms have it.

The staff were really helpful and friendly. I really like the fact that
even sharing the room with other people we could have some privacy and
space, having beds with courtines and drawres were we can lock our
stuff. The communal areas were cleaned and the breakfast were good as

It takes 10 mins walk from Alexanderplatz. Not that far away with convenient locaiton. The staff are really nice!!! They answer my question in detailed and gave suggestion on my route. I am girl travelling alone and I stayed in a 8 person mixed dorm. I am so lucky to stay in a dorm with 6 girls and 1 boy. And I met a really nice girl there!

The location is perfect since it is just a few steps away from the
closest metro station - actually transportation in Berlin can never be
a problem. The staff is really helpful about whatever you ask for.
Toilets and showers are usually clean. Dorm rooms are cleaned
frequently. This hostel also has its own cafe where you can dine or
have breakfast in the morning.

We stayed in an apartment - small kitchen, large bed sitting room, large shower room/toilet. The location is superb, 5 minutes from Ebeswalder and Prenzlauerallee statons, 4 minutes from the M1 and M10 trams. Loads of excellent bars, cafes and supermarkets within a few minutes walk.

It's a very good, comfortable place to live! Entrance is bright, so you'll find an Alcatraz without any problems. Reception is working 24 hours and everybody are so kind! There are clean big rooms, one huge kitchen with everything needed, free wifi and so on.

I was placed in a room with three guys who didn't understand hostel etiquette and who came in at 2.30am talking and laughing as loudly as possible. After a couple of hours of putting up with this I went downstairs to ask the guy at reception if he could do anything about it. He very kindly transferred me to another room. I was so grateful to him, I don't know his name but he ensured the rest of my stay was a pleasant one. Thanks!!!

to help point you to find anything your after, well they try their best
will only what they know of the city, open 24hrs, in the two nights
there I never saw the saw staff, so they have a lot of worker and they
all speak some English plus I think most know a few more which is
helpful, a bottle of coke was €2, far less then the city, I would use
them again

The location is very handy. We've been to Berlin a number of times and with the standard of public transport, most central locations will be ideal for discovering the city - the same applies to the Generator. I stayed at the dorm room this time, and it was one of the cleanest dorm with most comfy bunk bed I've ever experienced.
The 6 bed female dorm was cute and funtional; each bed has its own power socket, head lamp, huge drawer.
The power shower was great too. The wifi was free with great signal up to my room.
I'm not a dorm-room fan, but I definately recommend this dorm for anyone who does.
The location is very close to most of attraction and metro. Supermarket, McD, KFC were a little bit far
